Any IBBers have one of these? Concept seems interesting for outdoorsy stuff and/or personal protection for the lady. If you got any experience post it up.

For $450 you could get an auto loader that you don’t have to unfold to use in a real caliber instead of that pile of shit. If you buy that for your wife you don’t value her life very much. Just say no.

Looks like a great gun backup gun if your main carry is one of these

Fuck that thing. If you want a tiny pistol grab a shield, or the sig or whatever glocks version is and carry on. I wouldn't want anything smaller

nothing smaller? ive always wanted a COP derringer. No mags, no slides, no jams.

Have you ever tried to find shit in her purse before?

This looks like a pack of smokes and or probably a third of the contents:eek:

"Um yea Mr. Badguy can you wait till I find my square thingy?"

Only reason why this interests me is she rarely carries a purse and thinks the EC9 I bought her is 'too bulky'. This seems like something easily slid into a jeans pocket. I just wondered if anybody had ever handled one, how easy it is to pull, open, and use, and if it will hit anything passed flyswatter distance.
Any gun is better than no gun when it's absolutely needed, but clearly many guns are better than others.

That's a big order to fill, the Ruger @ a 3" bbl length.

Micros are more readily available these days.
Good luck post the results :usa:

Not for me. Smallest I have is a S&W 442. I can see how it would be handy. But I don't have much use for the thing.

Some people are serious about their self defense, some are not. My wife won't carry on her person most of the time, but she does have her G26 in the car, and we have had long conversations about situational awareness and staying out of sketchy situations. I would prefer she carry, but have to accept what she's doing is better than nothing.

I've tried to (gently) persuade (guilt) her with the fact that she has the kids a bunch of the time. Anything that threatens her will threaten them. No, Iowa isn't exactly southside Chicago, but she does have to take them to the city sometimes and it's not like we don't have a meth problem like much of rural America so who knows the mental state of those you may come across every day. I've bought her several pistols over the years, she'll carry them in the winter when the bulk of clothes makes it more comfortable (and crime rates are low even by midwest standards, even BLM packs it in for the winter:laughing:) but she always gets out of the habit in the summer. IDGAF what she carries as most self-defense use is just brandishing a weapon in order to be a hard target, but I sincerely want to find something that actually constitutes a threat (fuck yo pepper spray and taser) that she is willing to carry 100%.
But yea, I have gotten her to keep her latest pistol in the car, so I guess I'll have to take that as a small victory.

I'd far rather pocket carry a LCP (and have) rather than that (questionable) Item.

Have you seen - looked at the life cards? Friend has one. They are about the same size as a small cell phone. Rectangle profile and fit in a pocket easily.
It wouldn't be my choice for carry, I am happy with my p365.

Not a fan of pocket pistols at all . If I’m carrying one gun it better be accurate a lot farther than I can spit.

When I took the NRA Pistol Instructors course, they brought in a 'student' that we could practice all our new found knowledge on, a 50yo overweight hausefrau with a LCP her husband got her and she'd never fired it before coming to our class. She was not pleased that she could barely control it, and could barely hit paper at 15 yds.

We were all shooting fullsize pistols, and I was the only one that didn't have .mil or LEO experience, most of the guys were contractors and the class was a requirement to be able to provide private armed security and you should have seen their phones blow up when the Antifa bullshit was going on downtown. We had to hurry through the last part of the class so these guys could get downtown.
