What's new

Stupid prizes ! !

I hadn't considered that. I just saw you mentioned you're a paramedic, out of curiosity is it your experience that LEO might render aid in a situation that needs it?

The reason I ask is all we see on the internet is "the cops chasing the bad guys" and we don't see other instances where maybe they're first on scene to a bad one car accident in snow or something.
I’ve worked in Harris Co. Tx (Houston outside city limits) most of my career.
To the best of my knowledge Harris Co. Sheriff dept has no policy against deputies rendering aide, and I’ve certainly had many offer me/my crew a hand.
This holds true for Constables and DPS (state troopers).

Having said that, in my district it’s VERY RARE that law enforcement beats us to a scene.

Meh. If didshits wouldnt crash into other mother fuckers because theyve tinted their winshields and cant see shit at night i might give a shit.

But naw dog, my shit looks cool as fuck so fuck yo fender.
what circle do you run in that mfrs are running into your shit due to dark tint?

around here it is used to profile, a tool for reasonable suspicion to initiate a traffic stop. its for the officers safety. yet somehow the dog patrol units have 5% windows all around and they're safe in that scenario. or the shawnee county nrac unit. windows on that were blacker than night sitting right outside my business drive. we had a fun convo that day. :shaking:

Around where i live now? None

Sacramento? Plenty.
Ive watched shit heads back into other cars and just fuck right off.

Ive had to work on/drive shit head cars that were tinted out and it fucking sucks. Theyre a bitch to back out.

Hell, the lamegra wagon i drive now has cop tint on it and at night, it sucks. The rears and qrts are standard and thats meh enough. The front have that factory in the glass shit so peeling it isnt an option.

those shit heads wouldve driven off regardless of the tint on their hoopty.

I wont argue with you on they suck to drive. I have 35% on my dodge fronts, ks legal, and they suck to back up in low light. but I deal with it cuz sunshine on my thin ginger skin is worse.

That's encouraging to hear. And little surprise that you guys usually beat them there. From what I've seen and heard of EMS they're pretty motivated to be johnny on the spot and help people out.

Two wrongs don’t make a right. Dude shouldn’t have run and cops shouldn’t chase unless violent crime or suspect is already engaged through prior contact, bank robbers on the run, murder fleeing ect.

Cop or suspect could have easily killed somebody and all for a tint ticket, thats absurd.

This is also something to consider but typically “Good Samaritan” laws come into play and offer protection.

The shitty thing is people love suing (precieved wealthy) good Samaritans when there is a negative patient outcome and it makes healthcare professionals think twice about helping. In many states, suing a Dr. good Samaritan falls under personal injury, not malpractice. So you're on the hook for huge law fees even when you win. No matter what, your malpractice doesn't cover it.

Thanks to the fucking scumbag leeches and asshole ambulance chaser lawyers making people think twice. Most of the docs I know would still help, but they would think the situation over before announcing their presence & rendering aid. They say NOPE after a single drink.

Leave it to EMS (where people are on the job and someone is caring insurance)

He’ll end up dead or paralyzed if he continues.
Cool, That's his choice. Same with this dude.

Cop didn't check for a pulse or render aid? Guy was still moving around a little bit.

We're taught for rescue that there's only a few specific times when it's not needed to respond with first aid, and they've very, very obvious. That guy didn't look very obviously dead.

Did anyone check for a pulse before putting on the blanket?
At least check on the dude. From the severity of that crash, I doubt he had any brain function left.

Well he was retarded enough to run from the cops over a tint fix it ticket......
I honestly don’t think it had anything to do with tint or related ticket.

I believe whole heartedly that he did it for sport and the opportunity to create content for whatever social media he has going on.

If so, I hope his followers learned a lesson.
