How does one get these items apart ?

Too tight for a pickle fork, takes a special puller right ?

Youre not useing the pitman arm. Just thow the whole pitman arm in the trash.

No you dont.
Just pull the pitman arm off the box.

Yeah, it helps.
Any parts store will have a puller, get it on there and torqued tight then hit the end of the puller with a heavy hammer, retorque and repeat.


You and also set it up on an anvil and hit the sides of the spline collar with a heavy hammer, hard. And it will eventualy release.
