Storage barn types

Q Huts are tough to insulate very well too. Would need several inches of spray foam, and then good luck chiseling that shut off to ever mount anything in the future.
True, but Angelo is wanting to build a barn/ port/ open or semi-open shed. No need for insulation.

Wouldn't spray foam do fine?
But I wouldn't think I need it insulated. I would think vents in the end walls I can close is all I need

I think that's the s style. Depending on price I think that's what I was leaning towards.

I don't really want everything in one big building. This one will be dirt floors. The shop will be concrete

When I built mine, I poured cement strips about 16” square down both sides as foundation. The curved walls are bolted to them with those anchor bolts. I put up the curved walls and just had open ends and dirt floor for a long time. Later I poured the floor and put up the end walls. It was really nice with open ends, but not much security and hurricane winds going through it would be bad.

Spray foam is the way to go. I didn’t do that and mine is bad if I don’t have the doors open. There’s another guy local to me that has a smaller one with spray foam and I can’t believe how much better it is. I have a big louver fan to put in one end, but haven’t found time to install. I was also thinking about those spinning roof vents. You need the vent up high pulling the heat out. Mine is 16 feet tall and there’s a mesanine in one end. You can’t believe how much hotter it is up there.

The reason I would have preferred two smaller buildings is it would be a lot easier to put up and I would just spray foam and wire and plumb one. The other could just be storage. Also if you ever wanted to move one, you could move a twelve foot wide one on a car trailer with no permits or anything if you didn’t have to go far.
