Yes. For me this is totally a desire based in the past that I feel the need to scratch I guess. When I was a kid it was before they were cool. Kinda bucks down go fast cars, even a little ratty. I recognize that you don't even see a ratty old charger with wide tires laying rubber outside the 7-11 anymore. Some boomer dude who polishes it maybe. Very few actually get driven it seems.It's like a giant contest to see who can be the biggest fucking nerd with the most useless info on tap. I worked with one that didn't even have an old Mopar anymore but he'd sure tell you anything you ever wanted to know about mid-late 70's malaise era Dodges at the drop of hat even if you weren't asking.
I am more excited about the credentials due to resale down the road. I probably won't put the fender tag back on the car. I will keep the build sheet that is in the back seat etc. for later. I really don't want to argue about which plant it was produced in etc.
A GM product with an ls3 swap with a 6-speed makes more sense. But I just kinda got to do this.
