We were just in Florida, The bars may be closed, but the restaurants were in full swing. We didn't see anything that looked like limited capacity. Barely any facemasks were being worn except by staff

Alabama was the same. They are a bit more strict on facemasks than FL.

Texas bars are closed, and officially we have limited restaurant capacity but nobody around here is following it. Most fast food is drive through only, but everybody else is pretty much open. Face masks are required officially, but nobody is going to enforce it.

Co has indoor seating and patios. Guessing indoor is limited at 50%. Dont know if bar are open, but restaurant bars are. Also, can get to go cups for beer and liquor. Not sure how the cops feel about open container.

NM is at 25% indoor seating and patio's are open at places which have patio options.

To add to this, der fuhrer also expects everyone to wear masks in public including into restaurants until you are seated. I haven't been eating out since all the nonsense started, so I am not sure how a restaurant will handle it if you walk in not wearing a mask. The few places I have been going haven't been giving me any grief for not wearing a mask, but it seems to be enforced more in the bigger cities.

EDIT: Probably not an issue in your case, but I believe no parties larger than 6 people are allowed in restaurants.

UT, we built a bar in the backyard, always open:grinpimp:. Restaurants are open and ready to serve. If you have time, stop here and have a sample/tour.

I haven't been asked to wear a mask at any dining spot, the only place ive been asked around here is costco.

Colorado is still masks-required in all public indoor areas. Most county sherriffs won't enforce it, the state functionally can't, and most businesses have signs posted but won't do much more than that, but it is presently in-force. Dining is limited-capacity, I believe bars are still closed but I'm not a bar guy so don't know for sure there. I've not been dining out other than when travelling for work since all this started, and most of that has been drive-through (sucks).

Took a quick trip to AZ stopped on our way for breakfast in Socorro and ran into the must wear mask to go to a table to eat, told them to shove it we would go to Sonic for breakfast, samething happened when we stopped for a bathroom break in Quamodo. Got to Lakeside AZ some people wore masks and others didn't no one told us we had to so we didn't
We don't call her Der Fuhrer we call her Queen Wuhan Lujan, on masks she was in a small town in Northern Nm and was upset that people were in thier cars not wearing masks. We're all just bad serfs

Update original post as of this post.

Thanks for all the input folks!

Please try to provide updates for the missin' states and confirm bars.

Mainly interested n the bars.

You’re somewhat correct on TX. The state has allowed bars to start serving food and reopen if they get more than 51% of their income from food sales. So, some have done that. There are a few breweries local to me that are doing that.

went on a road trip from az to co a few months ago. i really dont care to wear a mask. in flagstaff "its mandiory". nm was even more 'strict' with light up road signs with manditory shit with threats of fines or arrest(cant remember), at a gas stop i got stupid people yelling wheres yer mask, im pumping fuel if you get within 6' of me you got bigger problems. co was mixed. utah dgaf, it was great.
its what i got, who knows maybe its changed since then.

edit: didnt go to any bars. mostly to gas stations and got food to go from various eaterys.

Wait WTF? She expects you to wear a mask in a car? Even the one party dictatorship here in Illinois doesnt expect that!

Wear a mask in your own car is probably the single most useless and dumbest thing one could do!! I'm excusing the people who just got used to wearing a mask all day at work and forgot to take it off, kind of like a safety vest....

I have never worn a mask while pumping gas since this started, in fact the only people I've seen wearing a mask while pumping gas have had out of state plates from a certain West coast state. I don't think I've seen a local wearing a mask at the pumps the whole time. I think the biggest problem at gas pumps has existed for decades before the Covid fraud and that is Joe Bob picking his nose and ass then handling the pump handle before you.

OP, Sit down Restaurants in NM have you walk in wearing one and then take it off at your table which is stupid IMO. Going shopping or to food joints they all have mandatory mask usage signs out front but I've gone to a few with a neck gaiter around my neck only and wasn't told anything. I don't go to bars that only serve booze so I can't report on that end. Brew pubs that serve food are the same rules as restaurants.

Resturants are open in Georgia, though many of the fast food places are remaining drive through only. Bars are open per the state but some cities and counties still have them closed. This seems to apply to places that are only a bar, bars are resurants are open with limited seating.

Also since mask wearing is not a statewide rule there is no enforcement of it. Stores have signs asking you to wear one but can't do much if you don't.

Thanks folks.

Sure as fuck weren't my intent to start up yet another bullshit mask thread. I don't give a fuck 'bout masks. When I gotta wear one ... I do. When I ain't gotta wear one ... I don't.

Really just wanna know if'n the bars are open. Only asked 'bout restaurants 'cause gonna have to go to a food joint to drink if'n the real bars are closed. Don't go to 'em to eat.

No interstate highways. When a fella travels the interstate ... all he sees is the interstate. And no cities.

Back roads and small towns for me. And local bars. Dark, dingy. dive bars ... no windows ... no clocks. Where a man goes to get drunk. Only reason to be there.

And to answer your question, I'll be comin' into Texas from Arkansas. Cuttin' 'cross North Texas and the panhandle and into New Mexico at Clovis.

Damn good news sir. :smokin:

I'll be comin' up from Colorado thru Laramie and then bar-hoppin' my way up the eastern side of the state to the Black Hills.

My old stompin' grounds and a significant part of my drinkin' tour.

If you plan on passing through Yellowstone, while in Wyoming, they are evacuating a lot of the people in the park. Wildlife on the south side burning close to old faithful now.

Also don't waste your time going through Jackson hole.
