Bought my sons old mtn bike off him (Pivot M4X)

Its rear hub shit the bed maybe 2 years ago. I wrote Stans to find out about what to replace it with due to not finding a replacement myself.

Interesting, Irate doesn't feature a mtb forum, did not know that. As for Stans customer service, yeah it's good. However, I run DTSwiss hubs (240S both rd and mtb) and have never had any issues in decades, no one I've ever ridden with has ever had an issue with any conventional hub. I didn't even know about these e-sync hubs until now. Sounds gimmicky, like Crank Bros. wheelsets. Don't think I'll switch. Thanks for the lesson...
