Way out West.
I have a set of Speedqueens from the early 2000's, and the dryer is running way too hot as in it actually caught a comforter on fire one time. I'm on propane, and I installed the proper gas valve for pane, also adjusted the air shutter to get a more blue flame as it was a bit yellow. Is there an adjustment for the amount of gas that's actually reaching the burner?

Lint trap needs cleaned, and any duct associated.

Does it go straight out through an exterior wall, or does it go up and through the roof?

The dryers at camp do that.

Either takes 3 hrs to dry a load or about burns everything. Wearing half wet shit today cause I got the 3 hr unit and fell asleep so semi dry clothes this morning.

Bad propane regulator at the tank?

What does the inside of the dryer case look like?
It was a little linty, but not bad. I thoroughly cleaned it when we moved into this house 8 years ago, so I should be GTG for a few more. Maybe I'll put it on the same cycle as my Aimpoint battery, I change it out every POTUS election.

I'm going to nth the thermostat/thermocouple idea then. :smokin:
