Was a staple of my youth and all my buddies except 1. The 1 is the most off base of everyone.

Anyway, I'm not even close to what I grew up with smoking in the car/living room/kitchen but have a good basement and after kids (7,8) are in bed I like a drink and a smoke. I've stopped a bunch of times up to 5 years since starting on my 18th because I could. Also bought a lotto ticket and cigar that day.

When I'm not smoking I can smell it instantly, don't want to stink up the lower level (lol) but relaxing is important. Was thinking about some fans to vent outside or options to not feel like a dirt ball when no smokers swing by

Anybody relate to this?

No. But enjoy if you want to.

If go with a basic window fan and police the tray, They reek

Im sitting on my couch smoking a cigarette as we speak

I dealt with 2nd hand growing up. Learned to hate cigarettes. Mom still smokes and smells like the memories of the past when my parents smoked around me that I'd rather forget.

I've done a lot of dumb things adverse to my health that are considered things men do, but intentionally harming the lungs I need aren't one of them.

If you're worried about the smell, smoke outside.

If you're trying to vent smoke, then some sort of fan. Maybe a panasoinc bathroom fan?

Grow the fuck up and smoke outside or just quit so your kids don’t watch there dad die of throat cancer.
I smoked for a few years while in the Army, and right up until my youngest was born. I never smoked in the house, and never in the car/truck.

One day after Mrs came home with the girls from a “Well baby check”, I went out back for a smoke. Our oldest (3 at the time) followed me outside in a light rain and said, “Can you quit those so you don’t die?”.

Was she coached? Maybe, but it hit me hard enough to quit right then. Nicotine patches kept me from going postal for about a week, then I was done. I hate the smell of cigarettes now :barf:

Thread timing makes me think that my memory is bugged.

Was thinking of this on my drive home.

If you are 13 and your mom is taking you somewhere, smoking with the windows rolled up and you ask her if she thinks that it is a good idea to smoke with you in the car with the windows rolled up and her response is, my parents did it to me when I was a kid and I turned out fine. Do not respond "are you sure about that ?" Or it will turn into a big ol thing :homer:.

Smokng lamp lit. Smoke'm if you got'm. Nothing like a Lucky Strike after the wing section on a red eye.
You guys notice that people started turning into pussies when smoking indoors got banned?

When the cigarette vending machines disappeared, that’s when men started pretending to be women.
That just gave them an excuse to come out. :flipoff2:

Fucking remember the "Teachers Lounge" ???? I smoked two packs a day when my parents smoked. (passive). MIL house the walls were thick with goo....NASTY!:eek::eek::eek:

There's a bar "near" us that still has one.

We rather enjoyed the venue. Was a blast from the past.
There’s a bar in Dallas that I used to frequent that had one. It was cool. Not sure if they still have it, it’s been a while since I’ve been there.

I grew up with a pack a day in a 6’6” ceiling tiny house and windows up in the car. :lmao:

Went to the bar? Best leave those clothes in a pile by the wash machine.

Shit my parents were both chain smokers. The house has a permanent layer of smoke at least halfway down from the ceiling at all times. Even at night. I know my mom would wake up several times at night and light up.

At least Mom would roll down the car windows, Dad refused.
