A good buddy of mine is gay as hell, I mean a flaming flamboyant gay man.

He hates the trans, he speaks out openly about them all the time. He gets shunned from much of the gay community because of his views and they all seem to want to push as hard as they can for the lbqt bullshit.

He really is an interesting guy and I wish there were more like him.

I think many others think like he does but are afraid to speak out.

The dude also loves trump and guns. He is the oddest guy I have ever met and I really like him.
 
Trans is a thing because Gen -X was too accepting.

Kids (and some adults who never properly matured), NEED a boundary to push against. Something to rebel against.

In the old days, it could be a simple as growing your hair out to touch your collar. Then maybe an earring then maybe a tattoo.
Something that just broke the “norms”.

When Gen X became parents, we didn’t give a shit about long hair. Grow that shit to your belt.
We didn’t give a shit about tattoos. Hell, go talk to my guy.
We didn’t give a shit about earrings.

So the envelope got pushed further. You had a whole group of people that were “gay”. And the gays wanted to get married.

And Gen-X didn’t give a shit.

Hell, there was a minute out there during the Ann Rice hay day where you had a group of people who thought they were vampires.


So where do you go with being gay? Doesn’t even get you the reaction. The next step is trans.
And that still gets a reaction. So here we are.

*I will say, some people are just fuckin gay and predisposed, we had a family friend growing up, no trauma, nice family, super tiny and feminine, no surprise when he came out as gay. But we definitely need to examine the abuse angle.

I worked at Ben & Jerry's one summer back in college with someone just like that. She becoming a he. Went by the name of Jax. Really chill person. It just wasn't an issue.

Anytime someone's Identity becomes the center of their existence and they have to ram it down everyone's throats it just makes me think what is actually going on here? Why are you this desperate for attention? Why are you so desperate to act in manner that is traditionally socially odd and demand everyone conform to that as if it's normal? Why do you so desperately need to be acknowledged as special? It's really weird. The people just living their life don't act like that.

I dont think so. Maybe half of the country have always been against all this weird gay ass evil shit being forced into normal polite society.

The other half has fought for it.

The leftovers are now realizing that maybe oversimplified tropes they live by like:

- You do you

- Not my monkeys not my circus
