Well, a cold artic storm dumped on the local mountains yesterday.

That's the Palomar post office by the looks of it. I was just thinking yesterday that they've had more snow this year than they have in quite a few years. With that said, fuck snow.

I could, but you can't. :flipoff2:

I never wanted to go snow skiing I saw to many of my classmates come to school on Monday morning on crutches to even consider it.
Besides the idea of going out and playing in snow just never appealed to me
As for surfing while it looked like fun there isn't anywhere here to do it :flipoff2:

We got dusched the other day (something like a every 10 yr occurrence)...

That's not snow. That's frozen water. Real snow is fluffy and fun. That shit is just heavy and slushy. :flipoff2:

That was a warm storm. You don't get the fun stuff until it's 0*.

Local weather says the gusts here are at 11 I beg to differ as I watch the outer window bow in

Who's complaining? It's freakin cool. When I was a kid Iived east of San Diego in Pine Valley. It would snow pretty good maybe once or twice a year. My dad and I had a sled hill that launched off a large boulder cut in for just such an occasion. When I got older, we decided one summer that we would clear an extra long run in even farther up the hill. The first real(only) snow of that winter comes around and we're all excited to hit it. My dad guinea pigs it solo on the first run and lauched off the rock going probably twice as fast as we ever had. It was awesome until he landed and broke his tailbone. To my dad's credit, he sucked it up and sent me down a few times(but a little lower down). After most of my friends and family called the hill "Seat Break Hill" in honor of my dad's busted ass. I wonder if anyone still goes down it.

Snow now or drought later. Pick your choice but you only get to complain about one not both.

Exactly. Not complaining at all.

Thats why it's called Sierra Cement and also why most of the dick wads East of the Sierras can't drive in it, no matter how much experience they claim to have.

No:flipoff2:

Dry Duffy snow sucks. The fun snow is right at 32* when it packs a good snow ball. Rig pictures is on 33, rear locker and 2" lift. This was last March, it was so much fun, back up slam into the snow, push for 20' back right out and do it again.

Sounds like a good way to set off the airbags.

I enjoy the powder that makes it easy to toss the snowmobile around and it just flows around you. Have to keep on the throttle just right to keep it moving and not sink. Getting stuck going down the hill is entertaining.

I've done it hundreds of times, no air bag has gone off. It's not THAT heavy of snow

Sled is a different animal, I've never been on one, our area isn't set up well for them imo. I may have to try one when we end up in a new area, they look like a blast.
