I welded some thin stainless sheetmetal and it actually worked really nice this time
thin enough junk that the 035 mig wire I was using as filler was a little too thick

if you weld it a little tiny bit at a time and hammer it flat in between to stretch the shrinkage (and reweld the areas that you end up stretching too much in order to reshrink them) it actually goes pretty doggone good
 
Day two of a GP flare. Vomiting 12ish hours after a meal.

Ste's new injuries via big ass dog include a now twice broken toe. Dog did the first break he did the second. I then forced him into the surgical shoe the walk-in clinic gave me and ordered two more from amazon. I'm still not able to put my broken tendon foot into a boot or shoe. It's been over a month.

He and father are having ribs I might have scrambled eggs.
 
Rained all day and watching cats sleep.

Spent the morning faffing about with my lawn mower. Threw in the towel and used my manual reel mower.

Un-fucking my back yard and taking breaks playing video games as I let the fire pit take care of the yard waste.

Making some gutter runner soup and big old dagwood sandwiches for dinner.

Yesterday was a long busy day.
Slept in till 8am today.
I recently joined a local sportsman club that has a couple archery ranges, gun ranges, fishing pond, camping/picnic area, and hiking trails. This morning the daughter and I went there to check everything out.
After that we got take out from a bar on the way home.
Went to the lease and checked trail cams.
The rest of the day will be relaxing with the dogs watching the last season of Black Sails.
 
In, bbq chicken started at 4 this morning, went to the shop and hammered out some more progress on stuff, then off to the house to rip out the rest of the fence posts and dug a pad for firewood, wrapped up at the neighbors for the typical chit chat, and just settled down to grab a bite to eat.
 
In. Just coat the first coat on a work bench base. Second coat in a few hours. Glued the top last night on a large assembly table at work. Going to go pick it back up tomorrow.

Finally figured out why my computer's fans have been going hard the last few weeks. It wasn't bad thermal paste. The cooler stopped cooling. Not sure if its clogged, pump died or ran dry. I'll probably open it up after I replace it. New unit should be here Monday. Just sucks not having my computer for the next day or two.

Now for a shower and food.

Replaced the steering wheel and valve cover fasteners on the EB and got the new carb dialed in - she's purring like a kitten.:smokin:
Now the 12+year old battery wont hold a charge so its time to replace it. :laughing:

Watching college football is the plan for the rest of the evening.
Nothing planned for tomorrow.

it made sense with 130nm a64s but...
