In, had to work for a few hours today doing remedial training for the world’s most spoiled employee four years running. Old dogs new tricks etc.

May sort out dinner and see if I can find anything to watch that is not political circle jerking.:homer::lmao:

In. Delivered pallets 1st thing. Most customers let me use a forklift to unload/load if they aren't on site. This old Clark lift usually runs surprisingly well. Dead as fuck.

Hand unloaded. :homer:

Then went and cleaned out cube smart unit. Reorganized the cellar to accommodate.

Dorked around in the yard now wiped out. Beverages...

Couple of beers in

Steaks are about to be grilled

Took the dually down for emissions this morning. They wouldn't run it cause the hydroboost is leaking like a sieve.

Tech tip: those amazon seal kits for hydroboost are junk. Reviews say this. Got the dually on the marketplace.

They throw a pan under it around here.

Getting trashed on lime vodka slushies with the GF... gonna get her naked later,

It was earned.., 1st week at a new job, did some sheetrock work today, then cut the grass at the GF's kid's house (they are on vacation in mexico for a month), then cut part of my lawn.

Not sure what we will do for dinner, ...

Checking in.

I took advantage of the MUCH cooler weather today. Today was trailer day.

A couple months ago I ordered a Soft Start for the trailer air conditioner. We have a tiny house on property. The trailer gets used as guest quarters when we’re not glamping with it. After reading the instructions several times I gathered up my tools and climbed up on the roof. I had to retreat because I discovered a large wasp nest in the AC unit . After a brief skirmish I was able to complete the installation. I held my breath as I turned on the AC since the directions mentioned a chance of a delay. The fan came on, then I could hear the compressor come to life :grinpimp:

On to project #2. Our trailer has a “Outdoor kitchen”. It has a small fridge and a small griddle. The griddle is just big enough to make a mess. I figured if I ever need to “griddle” anything I can use a large cast iron skillet. I am replacing the griddle with a two burner propane stove. I think the issue with the griddle is that it needs to be absolutely level. To be continued tomorrow.

Mrs work unit works 100% remote. Once In a while they get together, kind of a team building thing. Tonight is one of those “Girls night” evenings.

Currently sipping on a margarita. I think I’ll get cleaned up and figure out my dinner. Mrs should be home around 2100 ☺️

Didn’t plan on the wall of text :emb:

In. Been sick the last couple days so I'm taking it easy. Did run over to mom's and get a pickup load of firewood and got the dump trailer wiring situated so I can load that down with the unsplit stuff to at least get it home. Probably have 2 cords or more that need split sitting on the ground that really needs to get out of the dirt before it starts raining again.

In.

Ran errands with the wife this morning and spent the afternoon cutting the grass. I just got done power washing the ZT that was in desperate need of one. It's rained so much more that usual this spring and early summer that my yard was a mud pit up until recently and I did more mud bogging trying to mow than I'd care to remember. All clean now and the lawn looks pretty good too...

A shower and dinner are next on the list.

Currently standing in the backyard with the grill firing up and about 5 beers in.

Got ourselves in a little pickle recently and had to do a refi, well they threw a fit that the deck was falling apart on the appraisal, so I've been unfucking that this week. Currently got it all cleaned up and screwed back together well enough to hopefully pass the reinspection.

The wife quit her job a few months ago and went out on her own and it kinda screwed us this year, plus the $14k the doggo cost us. Definitely wasn't in the plan.

But is was worth it, I love this dog

moved my milling machine, stacked up some welders, flopped them through a shitty wall I just put up outta old garage door panels, stood them back up and got them under roof

the welders I got at auction, two of them had crappy cranes for the feeders, the bottom half of the cranes are made outta 5' of the right size DOM to fit 2.875" pipe
which is perfect because I needed some to make a coupler for my auger project and that shit ain't remotely affordable
