Living in hell
in,

i am pooped out, going up and down a flight of stairs 50ish time.
making Stromboli for dinner.
going to be a early one.
not drinking anymore. found out a new rejection med they gave me does not mix will with the alcohol.
so i value my life more then a buzzz.

Kiddo hasn't worn a diaper all day. Two poops and about three dozen pees in the potty. Super stoked on that.

Just had a BADASS dinner of NY Sirloin, bay scallops were on sale for $5 a pound, asparagus for $1.50 a pound, garlic bread, and an ice cold Guinness. I'm stuffed.

Tapped ten trees. Last year we did five. Three trees dripped the second I hit the spout in. So hopefully we get some sap.

Clips from the movie October Sky came up on my YouTube feed. Never saw the movie despite it being from like 1999. Looked good. I'll probably watch that tonight.

In, maybe. Just got home from dinner with wifey. Couch or snowmobile? I'm not feeling very ambitious, but the boys are calling me to go riding.
couch would qualify me as a loser and worthy of this club.
Sled gives me the super-power ability to glide over the snow at blinding speeds eith little or no control while dumping copious amounts of adrenaline to the blood pumper.
Getting old makes these decisions hard.:lmao:

In, went into work today to finish up a few things on the well rig. Also buffed some of the frame and front fenderwells so they can get painted on Monday.

In, been cleaning out the hot tub today and getting ready to drain it over night. Maybe I'll finish building a closet shelving system tonight.

In. Went to the DOL first thing this morning to title the bike I bought last weekend, surprisingly painless other than the 300 bucks for a title and both registrations, It seems the 'rona was all they needed to streamline the process of getting in and out.

Put a new keyboard in an old laptop so I can take it to work and quit trying to look at wiring diagrams on the 10" netbook the shop gave me to use. Fucktards at Dell decided that the keyboard needed to be the first thing in the case with the rest of the guts stacked on top of it, and that a couple dozen melted over plastic tabs were the best way to hold it in.

In. Went to a friend's house today to help with a remodel. Got spicy curry for dinner on the way home. Now I'm reading as always.

In. Worked about 24hrs straight. Got home at 8am. I fell asleep only to get woke up by another driver asking if I neede help hauling, no its taken care of. Made sure to tell him his competition was hauling it up currently. Just a friendly jab. I put them both in a group message asking for help yesterday so they could get worked up at each other.
Then I fell asleep only to get woke up at noon by my boss driver he thought I was still working. I couldnt fall asleep after that so I worked on the jeep installing yukon axle kit. Those super joints suck to install but I have them figured out now I think. Then went to work on a broken waterline in my rv that my brother is staying in. Its not in a fun spot to get to under the cabinets through the floor. Im going to get the jeep back together tonight and go to sleep early before midnight I hope.

Sleep schedules are for the dead.

Just filled up for the 4th time since Fri morn. Will be Holding the steering wheel for the next 5 hours, does that count? I'm more than ready for a self-driving s*** box

In. Spent the day mudding and taping the new pantry, while I was in the basement we had a micro burst and it tore off a bunch of the neighbors roof. I offered to help her but she had some roofers on the way, she's flipping out over the price and I told her to file a claim with her insurance and she says she doesn't want to. I'm kinda thinking now that she is uninsured.

So now it's OG Coors time and I am gonna make up a batch of wings and fries for later. Tomorrow is GF's Monday so it will be a quiet night for us.

October Sky is a great frickin' movie. It's a triumph story but about a country white guy. I don't remember another like it since '99. Dinner sounds great as well, I had hard-boiled eggs and some trail mix.

Because of our shitty media, I have to say I am not against brown people having a triumph story but fucking a it's nice to see it about some poor white hillbilly.

i read this and started calling you a lame fag then saw the taping part and :lmao: :homer:

I've never liked mudding, I always would take the go around while everyone on the trail called me a lame fag. Guess who wasn't fixing their junk all the time, this guy that's who.

In, had a little setback with my health/recovery from the blood clots in January, sister grabbed me from the hospital and went out and had a couple beers, my first drop of alcohol in a couple years.

Yesterday had an as400 shit the bed and finally got the LIC loaded, then the array choked out on a bad drive.... started at 8AM and everything crapped out just after midnight. met a tech for drives and got the system 'up' by 9:45 AM... then wasted the rest of the day waiting for a friend to get things to the point I could do my bit to help... 4 hours later and after the other help left it was finally my turn. What a fucking shit show.

Week is finally over. Just shy of 70hrs since Monday morning. Pretty sure the turbo on my KW is getting ready to die, have a new rattle somewhere on the POS and I can't figure out what's causing it, and I'm way the fuck overdue for a service. 4 more days and I can go home...

Tonight? Tonight we relax. And drink. And try to remember to eat. And probably fall asleep on the couch with a freshly cracked beer beside me. :homer:

Awesome view, cold beer and a healthy paycheque on the way though. All in all, can't complain.

At home. Been sitting on my 4runner for a while. So in the last couple weeks I have got busy on it. gear are in. New heads on engine, front bumper almost done. Almost had it fired up today for the first time since sept 2019, and the fuel pump went out. So I have one coming Wednesday. just found out all of the front lights simply have burnt bulbs. just finished wiring the winch. time for beer drinky. :flipoff2:
I figure this thing will be streetable by next weekend. It will still need the shocks ordered and registration done.

Some kid on American Idol just sang this. It was phenomenal, I need to watch this show more often

I also avoided mud like the plague. Some mud is unavoidable where I’m at, but mud holes suck. Nothing sucks worse than spending 2 hours power washing the underside of your rig before you can even start thinking about working on it.

Not to mention we've got that awesome black Anthracite mud and standing water puddles where it never drains. Unavoidable is correct

Did a little bit of work in the shop today, had a nice cigar with my neighbor and enjoyed a nice 60* afternoon.

In, but the day was productive

We started off slow, then Mrs started voicing her concerns about the She shed getting turned into an overflow storage space. I mentioned that one of the smaller sheds was full of crap that probably needed to go to the dump (I want it for generator and deck cushion storage). After a couple hours of fighting bugs, and negotiations with the youngest (much of the “crap” was hers), we had a mostly empty shed. After moving a few things around, and a run to the dump, Mrs has a tidy She shed, and is happy.

Sitting on the couch sipping on a rum&coke :homer:

In, burned more slash today and learned how to freehand ling straight ish cuts, turning logs to beams and posts. Getting exponentially betterbcuts with each finished cut. Finally got a work station figured out for it so now shit is comfortable ish to work on. Should be able to knock out the rest of my logs in the next week or so. Then true a side and cut then cut them to what ever I need when needed. Lumber prices are stupid amd getting dumber. Probably have $3 in fuel to a 5x7x16 and 9x10x12 timbers today and spent about 2-3 hrs cutting. I want a bandsaw so fucking bad.

Loaded and ready to go.

What's the log for? And where in AZ? My favorite wheeling trip I ever took was from basically Phoenix AZ up to Flagstaff out in the desert for about 8 days. Got to see Crown King AZ, still much like it was in the gold rush era, etc..if I ever leave NC I want to go to AZ.
