We slept in a little, then went to go see the new Beetlejuice movie.

We went to the Luxe theater in the Palladio shopping center in Folsom. This is the first theater I’ve been in where they serve food and adult beverages. We snacked on popcorn chicken, and washed it down with berry margaritas. The movie was entertaining, if you saw the first Beetlejuice, this one is very similar. Now that we are “empty nesters” we are finding things to do together on the weekends so we aren’t just parked on the couch. Dinner was BBQ pizza

Had a good visit with my friend, he headed back to CO, I came home no problems with the truck, thinking the old battery even though it showed 12.5 volts just didn't have the oomh.
Getting ready to start a roast in the slow cooker. Carots, parsnips, and potatoes have been scrapped and cut up, I need to brown the meat and put it together

In. Took the kids to an RV show because we are in the market. Had a great time but all the ones we were looking for were already sold.


Playing video games and drinking because I don't have shit to do tomorrow except look for a job.

In. Today feels so off.

Wife picked the boys and I up this morning from a three-night stay at Das Haus. Got the apartment, cleaned up, wife laid down for some sleep. Youngest and I got ready to run the HD. Right after we stepped out, guys and his boys across from us stepped out of their apartment. Guy, right behind me, asks if we want a small chest freezer. I didn't have any cash, but he insisted that we can have it (their last day here and he's just trying to pack the last of their stuff). So, scored a nice, clean freezer. Also grabbed the JD garden cart out of the dumpster that he had apparently put it in there . Boys got some toy pellet guns, too.

Picked my daughter up from my grandma's at 11. Bbqed a tri tip, moved the seat back on my daughter's trike and met Sluggy , he bought a hood from me.

I'm finally home now and yes the roads here can be crazy anytime if the day. Just wish they were a little smoother.
