We lounged around in bed for a while, this is our “Sunday thing”.

I got up and had my coffee while repackaging my Costco meat run from Friday.

After I was done with my butcher shop duties, we went to town. We had brunch at Black Angus, a once thriving steak house chain, I think we ate in the last remaining restaurant. Food was good, but it always has been, no clue what happened to the chain 😕

We wandered around to a few crystal shops to see what they had to offer.

I made margaritas earlier, sipping on a rum&coke trying to figure out what to have for dinner.

Walked a couple miles with the wife around the property this morning after chores, went to church, 2 birthday parties, went to lowes for a pallet of raised bed soil for her beds she wants and picked up some lumber for the project I'm doing in our living room, did another set of chores, installed the new radio in the tractor and now I'm "relaxing" having a beer...well I have been doing that for a few hours now.

Was a bit of a busy Sunday.

Got what insulation i had stuffed in the walls and sealed up the windows/trims.

Didnt get to go shoot squirrles.

Didnt hear from totalgirlfriend for over 24hrs, tried calling around 3 to see wtf was going on or eta. Showed up a lil bit later so it was phone dead zone.

Had to go fire up gramas generator. It has elec start and a good battery, just wasnt cranking fast enough to prime fuel up. Fed it some super juice and it took off.

Pretty lazy day though

I was able to mow my weeds with the new to me mower... for $40, it worked like a champ.

While mounting my Starlink, I had to spray the hell out of one of my cams... which killed that feed :( It turns out the wasps took over the hidden inside stuff:eek: I was able to fix that today and route the cables in the area a bit better. No more draping network cables on the wall:homer:

Drove 4 hours home from a week at a lake we’ve never been to. Definitely going back when the fishing improves. Slept for 3 hours, got up, ate, and back in my chair.

Man, if I had 5 bucks for every time I've heard that, I could buy some land :lmao:

Worked on converting gennie to propane today, my engineer buddy swung by to borrow a ring compressor and a straight edge to put his 12 valve back together, was already cooking some pork ribs so I fed us and we may have (hypothetically) drank some pbr's and some high strength homemade margaritas .

In meow watching Zip ties ñ bias plies new vidya with the Grandson, he loves that shit .

:usa:

In. Just got back from my buddies wedding in Oregon. It was an absolute blast.

The potluck dinner alone at the wedding was beyond fantastic. We roasted a whole pig, elk steaks, lamb chops, chicken, and all the sides you could ask for. Every single thing at the buffet was hand made by a wedding attendee from their own garden, property, or hunting trip.

We floated 4 kegs of beer, again home brewed by someone that came to the wedding.

The wife and I went to brunch yesterday morning and then I knocked out a few projects in the garage. Grilled steaks and chicken thighs for an early dinner and then met with a customer around 5:30. Spent the rest of the evening watching Black Sails episodes. The mrs wasn't feeling good so she spent most of the day in the recliner.

Mom's appendix burst early Sunday morning and Dad had to call the squad for her. They had her in surgery around noon. She's doing better, but it was a nasty thing and they are keeping her on antibiotics and vac for a few more days. Went and cleaned up the house for her since I don't like visiting hospitals.
