I looked and didn’t see one so here it goes…

Not really losing tonight. No plans, just hanging out with Mrs.

I made a batch of mom’s potato salad this morning. Mrs put ribs in the smoker around 1430. Mrs dad is coming back for dinner again this evening. I just made a batch of blackberry margarita:blender: 😋
 
In, made some egg foo young for my nephew and watched a Fortnite masters course with his little weird buddies, I think stress is taking a physical toll on me and there`s not much I can do about it which sucks.

In. Had grand baby all day. Not mad at it but slows production for sure. Per usual, too many little things to get done.

Hung her a swing off the old oak out back. Changed fluids on the old Kubota. Putted around the yard some. Errands in town.

Settled down for the evening, going to fire up the last season of Fargo I think.

Lots to do tomorrow. Maybe. :laughing:
 
Planned to buck 2 100ft firs today but found a buddy smoked my chain last time he used it. Time for a new one..... transitioned into a bunch of yard work and pumpkin patch action with the fam. Ready for rain here in the pnw....

Slapped a pork butt on the smoker this morning.

Got up early with the kiddos and played video games. Dropped the youngest off at the horse ranch so she could horse around.

Bottled my home made hard cider.

Cleaned the kitchen and faffed about with some yard work.

Oldest daughter was tasked this morning with cleaning the craft table off so we could carve pumpkins. She's still not done. :homer:

Beer and pulled pork for din din.

I caught one of the nieghbors at the dump with his trailer and asked him if he was making more loads, yep.

Cool wana catch "about half a trailers worth" out of gramas firewood pile, sure.

Well i was fucking wrongn turned into 4 full loads.

Well he wasnt down for that so he gave me the skidsteer and trailer for the rest of the afternoon to get handled.

Had a buddy come by needed someone to talk to, and I'm the one person he knows that don't gossip, talked for about a 1/2 hour, woman troubles.
Picked up my empanadas, went to breakfast they were busy Christian motorcyle group dropped in by the time I got mine it was almost noon, but they are one of two restraints' open on Saturday and have the better food.

Pretty good weekend, went out yesterday evening. This morning I started off with chores and went to the shop, via looking at that Lincoln, and spent the day cleaning up and getting more stuff ready for the house. Got the call that I have the opportunity to buy this steam engine. Not much left out there.

We slept in way too late but still got the Costco and groceries run done. Both places were full on gong show by the time we got there. Once we got home we skipped lunch and got to clearing off the deck in preparation for winter, got about half done before we decided to call it quits. Tomorrows gonna be a big day of yard work, it's been so cold and wet I haven't mowed for about a month so it'll be a cut and bagger kind of day. GF has to take care of all her potted flowers and put the pots away, hopefully we can get it all done in a day.

Dinner is on me tonight so I'll grill us up some pork chops and make some home fries with a salad of some sort.

Got dinner going, baked potatoe bar. Trying not to be stupid. I don't remember most of last Saturday night and it made me take a look back, I don't really enjoy being blackout drunk anymore. Woke up 4am Sunday freaking out.

Otherwise; got the pressure washer and genny winterized, the backyard mowed right before the thunderstorm , gotta do the front and cut some trim crap down still..ran out of time, storm came in 2 hours earlier than forecasted

This summer when my ship was in Hawaii I got a hotel on base.

Met up with some younger sailors after breakfast and tried to keep up with them like I used to. The sun beating down on you all day, I just can't drink like that anymore. I bought a round and then Irish exited that shit and went back to my hotel for a nap. Woke up around 5pm hungover as shit.
 
In. Went to a BBQ today with the kid. He's a show off to the little ladies and came home full of fucking dirt. He got tossed in the shower.

Very windy today and that picked up and destroyed my brand new umbrella. It fucked off it's place and ripped itself. Woke up to that.

Beer and probably be an early night.

Spent the day stripping down my trucks Battery Tray.Too lazy to drag out the sand blaster i went at it with abrasives. OIL BASE! Because without it, Machinery, Truck frames and pissy NYC Project Building hallways would never look new once a year without it:beer:. Made some 4/0 battery Cables.

Leftover Lemon Pepper Chicken in Garlic Olive Sauce over rice dinner. Gonna run to mcdonalds and grab 20 nuggets for a snack and head to bed.

Championship game is tomorrow, and then after I have to head back over the wall into Communism for work...

Busted too much ass during the week("double" shifts) but finally fully got rid of a house. Which allowed me to get rid of a couple of stressors. Feeling much more relaxed.

I get Monday off so I get to finally get onto the front end of my Tacoma. Amazon tried to lose one of the lower control arms... again.:homer: It is getting much needed and delayed love.

I'll also get onto the kitchen sink faucet. I swear someone tightened that sucker on there with a large cheater bar. First time every that I had to cut the plastic nuts off a faucet:eek::shaking:

I'm now on full time new to me car shopping; Lexus GX470(ie upscale 4th gen 4runner) I forgot how much of a pain shopping can be. I also forgot how much I HATE going into Sacramento. But I did get a test drive out of the way and liked the one I test drove. It was just too early of a model. I'm leery of looking outside my region due to not being able to test drive. If it was a project vehicle, I'd probably not give a shit.

I may try to figure out where to square up a section of my 'shop' pad. Hopefully the good old 30',40', 50' works to that size:homer:
 
In. Slept in till 7, got up and made a little fire. I want to see if we can make it till November before turning the furnace on this year. Woman spent most of the day at some far away farmer's market. Me and the boy went to mom's and speed-ran all the chores so the dog wouldn't be alone long enough to have any trouble.
 
Welp, that didnt go well.

Theyre having music and bullshit festival thing at the burger joint. Squids working so i figured throw them the $.

Well its a shit show of people and this is a very small burger joint. Right off the bat dipweed nephew is hounding me and im trying to grab a seat and find a spot for pig dog. I found what i thought was an empty table, tie him up and get in line to order. 10min in line and ive only moved up one spot. Nephew still wont stfu. And now theres dogs barking shittily.

So i go out and theres a big ass shepard and another pit/bull/staff type barking at pigdog and being held back, and fucking nephew has untied pig dog and is putting zero effort into seperating any of them.

I know that none of them are going to get hyper shitty but nephew is making every dog anxious.
I start taking pig out and he slips his collar and is more interested in getting pets and sniffing than getting out and now i dont have a handle on him.

Other shepard is doing fine and staying back but fat staffy its out pulling the owner and still hard sniffy half spracky and pulled up hard behind me. I reach back and hand on his harness so hes under some semblence of control.


Now pig has moved away i let staffy go and appologize. Grab pig and get his collar back on and walk him back. Now were at the house ovening up some chicken patties and tarder tots.
 
Used up a life earlier today.
Went riding on my KLR.

A fellow decided he needed to do an illegal Uturn.
Had to lay the bike down.
Lucky it was low speed thing as we both turned left from an intersection, then he went right as to head into an apartment complex. Only to pull right in front of me shortly after.

'Ol girl took it well, bar is bent, likely something else too. Rode her home.
Cops were amused I replaced a glass fuse and headlight/taillight was back to working order...

Wear the gear boys/girls. My left ankle hurts, nothing is broken thankfully.

Put two frig's from my outdoor kitchen into a small enclosed trailer with other appliances that I'm not using at the moment, one of them is a 400lb antique propane frig from the 40s or 50s, got forklift stuck in the ashpalt grindings in the process, pulled it out sideways with the Superduty, finally got the heavy bastard loaded .

Going to look at a new place to buy this week, I'm so optimistic about the purchase (I have to make it work) that I'm taking the trailer with me when I go .

Sounds like I didn't do much but it was a lot to get those fridges out with everything else I had to do on top of that while corraling a toddler .

Shower meow and done .

Edit: just realized grandson passed out as I was typing this, and as he had no nap today he is zonked and sleepin dirty .
