Well I brought home my latest project today:smokin:
1991 Wrangler. Bone stock with hard top and factory AC which actually blows cold. Drove it home 120 miles with no issues most of the way til had to panic stop for a :mr-t: that tried to pull out in front of me. After that it seemed to be dragging a a brake. Pretty sure it needs new soft hoses and probably some pads or shoes now. Other than that I have no complaints about a 33 year old Jeep. I forgot how small they look when stock since my 94 YJ ended up on tons with 38 inch tires and all. Tires are old but ok for now, need to read date codes to see if I'll kill any nuns driving it short term. Plastic clip that holds the metal rod to inside door handle is broken but I already have the clip to fix that in the morning.

In. Tried to balance tires on rail. Holy fawk they are thrashed. Did the best we could but new tires are going to have to come sooner than later. Just have to live with it until I get spindle fixed.

Wife's working until like midnight.

Put up a stand at the lease this morning and trimmed some branches.
Wife and I grabbed lunch at a burger and ice cream shop in town.
She’s been napping this afternoon and I’m watching tv with the dogs.
Neighbors are setting up their tv in their backyard to watch the Hawkeye game tonight, we’ll probably stop by for a bit.

Tomorrow it’s supposed to be about 20 degrees cooler so I’ll probably put another stand up at the lease and finish up a couple projects in the garage.

Grabbed breakfast, went to the bank, went to the hobby lobby with the wife, came home and took a “am I bored, or am I depressed?” nap. After waking up… think it’s a bit of the former and a lot of the latter.
I need to try to make it to a yoga class to straighten out my head.

I hate our shitty bath towels. May go to Target later tonight and buy a new set and take all the current ones to the garage.

That’s it.

Made everyone breakfast.
Went to the gourd museum, and did some shopping for baby toys, cause grandparents do that stuff.
Cut grass and ran trimmer around sons property, he needes to get a presentation completed for his masters program. With a new baby ,
Working full time and master program, he has had little time for the yard work.
Fixed a gas lawnmower for him. He has been using a electric one, but grass got too high.
Going to pour a concrete slab for him tomorrow for garbage cans.
He is currently cleaning his garage with my wife. Ordering food in tonight.
Played catch with is dogs for an hour.
Going to smoke a cigar, and burn some trash wood later in his fire pit.

Got to bed at something like 0330. Woke up at 1130. Picked up and burned some trash around the property. Slowly dragging my ass around to fasten some loft decking in the shed. Ready to have a place out of the weather to store all our bullshit. And set my tools up.

There is a museum about gourds? Why?

Got started pulling the axle on my 350. Then it got hot. Now I'm working on a pihole for my buddies office. Wife is chaperoning a middle school girls sleepover for church, so I'm gonna sit at home and drink beer and play video games :smokin:

If it's not shitty tomorrow, my plan is to finish unbolting everything except the radius arms tomorrow, and get jack stands installed.

Probably grab myself some mexican for dinner later.

Did an AR match this morning with my regular squad, our best guy dropped one shot and that got him 6th, I dropped 6 (over 5 stages), and that got me 25th our of 66. If I had made one more shot, I would have got 19th, which would have been a first top 20 overall for me. Anyway, had fun and it should be the last hot match till April or May...ready for some cooler weather for sure.

Loaded hay this morning and then decided to do a deep clean on the tractor cab. Was pissing me off being that dirty.

Then it was incredible pizza for my sons birthday. Boys had fun.

Now, home. Gonna work on cleaning up my desk in the shop and move it so the pellet stove can go there.

In, Just got home. Burnt up a tank of super unleaded driving to Harrys u pull it and D's truck u pull it. The full sized international intercooler that was perfect 2 weeks ago had a hole in it today. The steering box is a different number so i will be researching that. I am probably gonna just pull it next week with hand tools because i like to make idiotic automotive decisions and see how it fits on my truck. I was quoted 75 for the intercooler and 100 for the steering gear.

Then drove an hour north to D's. That place is a walk for sure to get to the trucks. Lots of old keystone vans with duramax engines. Same old swan trucks. There is 2 rectangle port 6.0L/ 6L90 Combos there . Like i need more shit to trip over in a 2 car garage.:shaking:

Found 2 TRW/Ross steering boxes but they are 5000 series and i need the puny little 40006 box.I really need to just pull my box out and pull out the sector shaft to get the bearing number if its readable. Or measure the shafts.

Most likely i will go back and get all these shitty and non fitting parts just to cause more labor and laughs of frustrations on my part.

agonizing over going out to look at a second set of wheels to keep from adding miliage on the 2500. I don't know anything about cars after the 1980s, so I asked the collective hive mind on here about their opinions on two in my price range works out I just have to go see which I like IE fits my old fat butt.
