Slick Rock, Sourgrass, Deer Valley, Corral Hollow, and Barney Riley are all in the general viscinity of hwy 4

Bumping for 21!
Headed up in a few weeks.
Looks like the above survived the eco Natzi's another year...

The forest website have extended the closures till june at this time...

Not sure how deep it is this year...
The ranger said "some areas of snow and downed trees" we need to clean up.
Gunna hit up Joaquin jeepers

Emailed the club, going up to scout it out this week.
Will chime in afterwards

The gate got smashed by a tree, someone cleared it and the Spicer side is open...
The other gate is still locked.
Per the 4 feds (white trucks) we talked to, the blanket opening is set for June 1 for everything.

Right on, thanks for the info! Hopefully that snow will melt in time. Thinking bout going up mid june

Not a ton of snow anywhere but in the shade, streams are running, a LITTLE puddling (most is soaking in) lakes are +-5' low.
There should be no reason the work party next thursday (27th) cannot clear the way....
Thee scooter tramps were out in force (wear yer leathers) gorgeous weather for a work day.
I should be at mosquito with +-8 rigs 28 may

The arbitrary extensions of closures till 1june are still in effect.
deer valley wont open till 25 june.
The cleanup is set for 5 june, hosted by joquine jeepers, My talk with the ranger shows manpower and equipment volunteers would be welcome I'm told.
A big thanx to the clubs hosting trails!
