Shower tech in chitchat?

What's a shower head I can buy that doesn't suck? The one I have now has restrictors in the nozzles...so just short of pulling the chinesium chromed plastic apart, there isn't much I can do.

I use a handshower got used to using them after living in RVs for years, has plenty of water pressure
Do you have hard water?

We have hard water and they eventually get clogged. I've thought about making my own.

You unscrew the head, and there is a little washer thing you can remove. Did that. Works great. No complaints. Its only been a week though, so no experience long term.

I have this head (not the valve). Removing the restrictor was easy with pliers. My house has 70psi water pressure and if you are too hung over it can be hard to not get knocked over when you turn it on.

We had a decent 5" shower head that worked well after removing the restrictor. It started leaking where it wasn't supposed to leak and was looking good so we bought this one.

It sucked donkey balls until I took the restrictor out and now it just about knocks you to the ground. I need to get an adjustable restrictor valve to out inline.

we put these in our old house and just installed one in the guest bathroom here. They kick ass and the restrictor basically falls out of it once you pop the o ring out.

At work we keep dicking around with the water supply pipes, and either rust or plastic shavings from heat welded sclar pipe clogs the shower nozzles.

Our shower is a big room with about 3 dozen shower heads. One night I replaced about half of them with these:

Best shower heads EVER. You could adjust from a huge fog of water right down to crotch blasting jet.

i used to know people who chose NO shower head.. didnt like it enough to stop using one myself..

Thats with the valve. When I bought it it was just the head, about 50 iirc. Shower valves are expensive

I gotcha. I'm over here with my $17 shower head all like, wait am I missing someting?

I had to do the same thing for my moen. It was a nice big showerhead but it just dribbled on you when you took a shower. I gutted everything at the fitting and she is a blaster now
