hate to ask because I really don't gotta go spending more money
but any shot out 22-250 or 243 barrels?
just good enough for fucking around with a cetme parts kit, they don't gotta shoot good by any measure
It started having massive velocity swings and has plenty of fire-cracking.
Taper is 1.016 to .950" at 26". She's just barely not a truck axle
Could probably lop off the chamber and still have a 22" barrel, it's threaded 5/8-24 on the muzzle already for a can
Button rifled McGowan, so not sure how it would react if you re-profiled the contour. I generally buy cheap button rifled ones because I've found if they're thick cut vs button doesn't matter.
now why would I do that, other than to get a normal chamber so I can use dirt cheap loading dies
Gonna be a low effort blaster, probably hogged all the way down to .650ish for the front sight to fit, wanted to try out using a hard wax instead of a fluted chamber, like the 5.7s use
