Dyammmm, this thing is pretty wicked. Reusable rounds that look like quarters.

 
Painful but not deadly, needs to be 100 rounds or more, and not overheat when fired long term.
it blows through 25 rounds too fast
 
It's cool from the toy standpoint, but not a viable weapon or less than lethal option yet. If you are between this and an airsoft gun this might be more fun but they need more energy storage to make it viable.
 
Bump the coil size up to handle current from a Tesla battery and itll definitely "sting" then. Amp-turns in the coil + amps = zip on those things.
Having a flux capacitor and the 1.1gigawatts to bounce it and the thing will punch walls. :laughing:

FYI, theres a few uTube videos on the tests the Navy is doing with their hardware that "sorta discusses the how its done w/o giving out too many DoD secrets. IEEE journals have been posting disclosures about the techniques since the late 70s.
