Long story short, bought a house, this truck was included. Sat down in the field for years, I think since 2011 or so? Not sure what the main goal with it is, probably a shitty fuck around truck/demolition derby truck? No idea besides just generally beat on it. Figured I'd make a thread on it cause why not, we need some content here right?:flipoff2:

We got it running in about an hour, new battery, air filter, and distributor wire. Bump started it at first, then got the ignition to work with a screw driver. Rabbits lived in the engine bay for a good amount of time. Inch thick layer of shit all over the motor.

Previous owner threw it in with the property during the purchase, said he "might" be able to find a title or pink slip for it???:homer: but that was months ago, this thing most likely wont smog without some effort and $$$ which I am not feeling like going through.

Open to IBB's input, Nissan's are completely new to me

Run it for awhile, get it good n hot ,exercise the smog shit and run it thru off the puter IF you can find someone to do it.
You might be surprised, I've seen worse pass.

I think you ought to make some u-tube vids just beating the tar out of it, maybe you make some money.
Or sell it before you beat it and again maybe make some money.
Or get it titled keep it as a run around truck, they're decent to drive and get good mileage.
Or, slam and boost it to make a drift truck. Again video shenanigans for the u-tube bucks.

If the previous owner can find the title and send it to me I may look harder at going down this route, itd be nice to have it legit and street legal

I'm mostly impressed that you got the engine bay so clean. 😂
A shit ton of power washing helps! It was pretty nasty lol

Don't know about where you are but if they listed the truck in the property sale contract it ought to be enough to get a new title from the DMV.

I did a solid 10 seconds of Googling, but yeah it looks like CA has a decent lost title process. The seller can also file for a duplicate title which is easier and cheaper, but requires the seller to cooperate...

You can do a bill of sale transfer with in ca. As long as you have the registration and there is no lien.

Have the "registered owner" wink fill out the bill of sale. And take it in.

Or you could do a lien deal since you bought the property and the truck was there.

Here in CT if a vehicle is 20 years or older a title isn’t required and you just need a bill of sale and a signed previous registration. Or you could look into an ownership affidavit. I’m sure Commiepornia is different. I’ve heard horror stories about that place.
