Got an 80 3/4 ton suburban for free. Sat in the woods for 12 years. Some friends and I got the thing running and was able to drive it around and out of the woods and loaded on a trailer. Didn’t know what I was going to do with it but I’m a sucker for a free deal. Ff 14b with an 8.5 front, sm465, 205 and a small block.

Picked up an 88 k5 for $300 that’s been a trail rig for quite some time. No drivetrain. Just sitting on the leaf springs. Plan is to swap all the drivetrain over because the Burban is completely roached out and have a cheap trail beater. It’s already got a cage, some beefy sliders tying the body and frame together. Boxed rear bumper tied to the frame and body as well.

it’s a pile but I dig it so far.

This is what the shape the Burban was in ajd what the blazer use to look like. A guy I worked with recognized the blazer from years ago and knew the guy that use to have it. Said he painted it red because red sells.

Picked up a set of 38” swampers on some beadlocked chrome super truckers. At this point, I think I’m into this turd for $900 so far plus u bolts.

Pulled the front clip from the Burban to pull the motor easier. Planned on using it on the blazer anyways, although it’s not nice by any means, it’s in better shape than the blazers was. Going to use the push bar for whatever bumper I build. Gonna wire brush the headers and just clear coat them.
