can't seem to embed the video. Not new, but hey we like videos.

"Utah Highway Patrol did not identify the driver of the tractor-trailer but said they cited him for improper passing and failure to maintain lane." well that's bullshit, the semi truck driver was a fucking dick "Gleason said the truck driver "was temporarily blinded by the wash of the plow and couldn't see where he was going." IF YOU CAN'T SEE WHERE YOU'RE GOING SLOW THE FUCK DOWN OR STOP you fucking idiot

I would have called for CDL revocation and a month behind bars for an irresponsible stunt like that, but that's just me. Thank god the driver of the plow made it.

Back to looking at large snow plows...

18 wheeler operator needs his ass whooped!

I remember when that happened. Particularly bad winter, I towed a brand new empty enclosed trailer over that pass only a couple weeks before that in the worst blizzard I’d driven in in years. Traveling the I-70 and I-80 corridors there is no shortage of moron trucker drivers.

I didnt read the article.....

Probably couldnt stop.

:flipoff2:

Who the fuck passes a plow on the right?!

Someone who's sick of going 25mph because there's two inches of snow on the road.

Nobody ever tried to pass a plow that was traveling a reasonable speed. People pass the plow when the plow travels stupidly slow "because safety". UDOT needs to nut up and let their drivers drive at whatever speed they see fit and this shit wouldn't happen.

The plow has got to be going decently slow for the four wheelers at the front of the line who have the opportunity to pass to routinely go for it. If the plow is going anywhere close to a reasonable speed a buffer zone made up of pussies who can't drive in snow builds up and then nobody can pass the plow. For the semi to even have the opportunity to pass, let alone feel justified in going for it the plow had to have been doing stupid slow.

edit: i has grammar

The asshole plow drivers here will line up in a line like its a fucking parade and block traffic for hours. On I-70 and I-25 they do that crap with their plows in the air because there is no snow on the road.
After a hour at 20 mph, you'll start to consider passing on the right too.

well if youre going to pass flying through a turn you better damn make sure you dont clip his truck

thats fucked up.

Who the fuck passes a plow on the right?!

Literally everyone that lives in a snowplow state.

If you say you haven't performed a dodgy move around a snowplow, you are a liar or have alzheimer's.

I have no idea about the above incident, the story and video reveal nothing at all about who is at fault here. You idiots are going to argue opinions like the buncha Karens you are :flipoff2:

But to my point: every single person who drives in a snowplow State has performed some dodgy move around them. Every single one of you fuckers, no exceptions. You are liar if you say otherwise. This is 100%.

I have not, and I have no need to lie.

I live in a rural area. If there is a plow in front of me, there is no way to see in front of him to pass on the 2-lane roads, therefore, I sit my happy ass behind him and listen to some music to pass the time. I'm self-employed, so I don't have to worry about being in the office at a particular time, only that my work is completed within 72 hours of receipt.

Your DUMB FUCKING MOVE could cost someone their life. Always remember that, when thinking about doing something.

You know I don't believe you. You just have a bad memory. You posited your innocence on a temporary life circumstance: Being self-employed means that sometimes you have to rush more urgently than lazy commuters who don't leave early enough. You also drive for more than your work, you have a personal life.

And finally, other drivers have definitely put you in that position.

But that's not all. At some time, you got lazy, misjudged a distance, or in another way put YOURSELF into a position where you had to pass a snowplow, be too close to them, have your visibility restricted by them.

If you say you didn't you are just not credible. That's it.

I lay these guantlets down on issues I can't lose. I can't lose this. The only thing you can do by refuting my statement that at some time you have pulled shenanigans around snowplows, is reduce your own credibility.

I laid a plow truck over a few years ago. Was not difficult to do.

Hmmm . . .

I wonder how far down your opinion lies in DRTDEVL's pile of stuff about which he even remotely gives a fuck :flipoff2:

I wonder how much a weak ass pussy he would have to be to have you defending him, Batman.

White-knighting for another man. That's a new one.

Is your hope that he will now fuck you?

It's not like you took up his position or opinion. You defended him, in the way that a random boy will defend a girl who gets her mouth too deep into an argument that she can't win.

Wow. Your crazy train is running at full steam today, isn't it?

I made a simple, borderline-rhetorical, comment to highlight your error in assuming the importance of your opinion.

That other bullshit you saw? - all that exists only in your head :homer:

. . . along with many, many, many voices

. . . and (I'm guessing) cats fucking loudly

I never have to rush more urgently. In fact if the weather is bad, I usually just inform the client that the weather here is not conducive to the 72 hr rule, and I will get on it as soon as everything clears up. I have never had a client pull their business over these decisions.

As I said, I literally live in the middle of nowhere at the edge of a small town. If I need something, I head into town to the grocery store. Its 0.8 miles to the interstate, 1 mile down the interstate, and 0.5 miles off that exit. No need to pull shenanigans on a plow in that distance. Aside from that, I have no reason to ever leave home in a storm.

I have never had to pass a plow, period. Some people just don't feel the need to rush around.

Sure, if I were 20 years younger I'd probably do something stupid, but 20 years ago I lived on the Mid-Atlantic Coast where they shut everything down at the thought of snow or ice (Newport News/Norfolk/Va. Beach). I moved to a snow state at the ripe young age of 42. I already owned and ran businesses, and I opened up shop under my current model that doesn't require me to be out in inclement weather unless I actually want to be out there. When I was young, I lived in Hampton Roads, then Florida, then Texas. I had no need to pull shenanigans around plows because they really didn't exist in my life. Now that I am an older family man with no need to rush, I still don't.

Maybe that's why I have a Class A CDL with a perfect record? Not even a failed roadside. Never OOS, never a logbook violation. Nothing... and I never felt the need to pass a plow in a semi truck, either, because that's just plain stupid.
