Trooper Rick Johnson, the spokesman for the Washington State Patrol, confirmed to Fox News on Tuesday that 12 individuals had been arrested and cited for various offenses, including obstruction, disorderly conduct related to blocking a roadway and malicious mischief related to tagging of the freeway.

He said the King County Jail refused to book those individuals -- though he was unsure what reason they provided. Those individuals were therefore merely cited and released, Johnson said. Because those people were not booked, Johnson said state patrol cannot release their names until prosecutors formally file charges against them. Two vehicles used to block the freeway were impounded.

seattle apparently trying a "arrest some" approach, which is a big change from "divert traffic" that they used last year.

OF COURSE the jail wouldn't bother to process them :lmao: :lmao:

seattle cannot fail itself fast enough.

Well it did work ok by just detouring people and not giving them a platform for their protest. Until it didn't and two people died....:flipoff2:

and obviously the fully realized risk of death is not a deterrent.

this is why you can't just kill protesters and consider the problem self solving. they rejoice in death and dance in the blood of their fallen.

Of course, can't let the riots continue now that Trump is gone. It'll make Sleepy Joe look bad instead.

In this case I would say no. Seattle has a small contingent of black bloc, antifa, BLM, bums, malcontents and professional protesters that have been protesting whatever for a while now. They had got some.media coverage and really fucked with normal people by going into I5 in downtown Seattle and blocking the freeway. The initial response was to just detour people around the protest and close the roadway.

That actually worked ok for a while, the protests would hang around for about 15-45m then leave once they realized they weren't inconveniencing anyone. Until one day a guy was running from the cops, went the wrong way into a closed offramp into the protesters and killed two of them. Huge public outcry and lawsuits ensued and the state patrol decided to not allow anyone on the highway any longer. They stopped allowing protesters to block the highway well before the election. :flipoff2:

That strongly depends on how many and exactly how. If back packs and things start going :nuke: wiping out quite a few...I think they may start second guessing their actions.
