Doing a timing belt and water pump. My last pump used a paper type gasket that I just used a little sealant on. This one is a factory Toyota metal gasket with a thin rubber gasket molded around the whole thing. Do you guys still use something on this type of gasket or put it on dry. My manual, from 29 years ago says apply seal packing in water pump groove, which this doesn’t have.
