screws or rivets?

Some dummy couldn't see great in the rain when backing around a corner and just sent it instead of getting out to look.

Punched a hole in the back of my trailer when it hit the coupler of another trailer in the yard.

Picked up a chunk of trailer siding to cut up for a patch.

Going to trim it up real nice and neat. Going to round the corners and everything. I plan on smearing the back of the patch with 5200 and doing a weather bead around the perimiter.

Question is should I use sheet metal screws, or pop-rivets?

I vote pop-rivets.

Had a buddy that worked aircraft sheetmetal, he'd get pissed when called POP rivets. POP being a brand of rivet. They are blind rivet? I think.

He'd call the angle die grinder a "Dotco" though.

Rivets won.

Thought I had more in the drawer. But I only had 8. Maybe I will ad more later.
