Just some things from the article I find a little disturbing
"If someone continues to resist that culture or climate after multiple interruptions, then you know they do not belong," Dome added.

"If you continue showing up compassionately to conversations but the other person refuses to give as much as they get, then sometimes that relationship is simply not a worthwhile use of your energy. Divorce can be a form of repair if you’ve made every attempt but simply cannot find a way for the relationship to move forward. If a team member isn’t willing to adjust … then the repair may be to remove them from the team or organization," she said.

So DEI never has to change, DEI is always right. Only other people have to change. DEI never has to go only people opposed to it need to leave

People who may feel they are not being treated fairly in the name of equity, Dome explained, "they are right. But—and this is key—that’s not the point. The point is that equity is there to give everyone what they need to thrive."
She added that what someone else is given shouldn't bother others because "we are all connected," "my success is your success." She said an absence of equity will lead to theft.

"If you feel like an equitable system will create lack for you, remember that we are all connected. If you understand that my success is your success, and vice versa, you are much more likely to give me what I need," she said.

And that for me is the problem. Only the most desperate should be given anything. You should EARN what you need. Everybody should be given the equal opportunity to EARN what they need.

AND... who is doing the giving? Who decided what you need, what I need? I'm pretty sure we all know that answer.

The one brilliant thing that they (whoever you want that to be) have done a great job of shutting down discussion by calling it whatever name is on favor. Nobody asks them to explain anything. You cannot have a discussion about anything without being called a name. The problem with that is it only works for so long. Not that everything is racist, the term has lost it's bite.

The root of it is people being afraid of words. People don't want to be called an ist/ism/phobic etc etc etc. Stop caring about the words and make them explain it. They always fail when you get to that point because it exposes their arguments stupidity and emotional roots.


You're a racist! Ok, explain to me what it is that makes that true. Crickets :laughing:
 
As soon as a lefty is at a loss for words comes the shouted insults.

"Equality" is fair for everyone. Sink or swim on your own merits, regardless of your whatever..

"Equity" is theft. Stealing the merits of others and giving them to those who do nothing.

I think there'd be more surprise if she was pretty like Halle Berry and didn't look like Jabba with stolen-culture blond hair.

When women age, they hit 'the wall', right? This chick never had that issue. I mean, she could pull duty as an actual wall, so yay for her.
 
When people suggest that stuff like this is the end result of DEI, affirmative action, and other corporate and/or state mandated racism they're called conspiracy theorists and highly ironically racists. When shows stuff like this they just ignore it or if they're so ideologically bound they don't mind being a massive hypocrite they'll go ahead and flat out celebrate it.
