SBC valve cover question

Guess this might be a good place to ask. I want to build a stroker engine to swap into my old Jeep. Basically I want a Gen I engine. I found these valve covers and air cleaner I want to use, but the valve cover is a center bolt design. I'm looking for an adapter to use the center bolt valve cover to a 4 bolt perimeter head, but most of the ones I've found don't appear to work in that setup. Any suggestions? Pic of the setup.

Wrong direction. That's to adapt 1955-86 SBC valve covers to 1897 and newer engines.

I just wish they were red, like the one in my op.

With a total of 8 threaded inserts or un coated nuts and a drill bit the link above will allow you to get from point a-b. Assuming you can weld(not trying to beat on your fab skills). Obviously is going to require 2 gaskets on each side as well. Done it before.

Because they are the correct valve covers that don’t require adapters

Be cheaper/ less ghetto to paint/powdercoat the orange ones red, then with fine sandpaper and a block sand the top of the fins/ script back raw. But sounds like you're not ready to hear that

A simple call to some local powdercoating shops would do wonders. I know a few shops that would have no problem doing those in red with the polished top edges like you want.
