Sandman TI

I assume the direct thread adapter is just threaded into the body of the sandman TI? Can it be removed and the QD adapter put in its place?

I haven’t handled one but I have called Dead Air with other tech oriented questions and they actually seemed to know their products. Shocking in this day and age.
