Drove the truck up here today and now I'm at the airport and flying home in about 45min.
It was nice meeting xr-nut and getting out of the house for a few hours. Funny part is I knew where I was up until an hour or so before I got to his shop. I forgot I've been up this way for work a few times but its been a while since the last visit.

Nothing is ever easy. Left the terminal and headed to the runway and then we turned around. Apparently 2 idiots are on the wrong plane so we have to go back and drop.them off..... How the fuck does that even happen.

3/4 of the plane missed their connector flights out of DFW and are stuck here for the night.... Why the fuck would you turn a plane around for two stupid fucks and screw probably 100 people??? I would have made those 2 retards suffer, not everybody else. Must be a democratic run airline......
Either way I'm back in DFW and will be home in an hour or so.

Its always intersting meeting fellow irates. I have a picture of each of you assholes in my mind. So far, each of you ive met look nothing like what I thought.
Same goes for poke. You know that guys not from texas? It was nice to put a face to the persona, I enjoyed meeting you. Too bad we couldnt get a deal done on you flying out to PA to bring back the rubi I bought out there. Now for the fun part. reconditioning this truck. list of to do's: detail, seat bottom covers(both fronts), tires(6), move filler neck, replace the ambient temp sensor in the headliner, rear door sill(both), paint jambs, couple door rubbers, overall inspection(something worn in steering).
Thats just a start. Like mentioned in op, truck is sold already, we need to do our part and make it the best we can. Poke said at highway speed it drives fine. motor and trans seemed good. check out the driver inside dual........yikes. I think it barely made it here.
