What's new

Samurai!

Interesting. Thats what I'm hoping for. The only listings I can find for the front of an F150 seems to be an eaton LSD. Plenty of stuff for rear applications though.
I did have an OX locker in the front. But I completely spaced when building the beam and put the cover in upside down. It was easier to swap to a Tru-trac than to cut the beam apart.

glad this build got shared in the what's next in 4400 thread but after going through it in one chunk till now and seeing that you work at my pace I'll be starved for updates. this is pretty awesome.

Well, after a lot of contemplating, I realized I don't really want to wheel anymore. So I think I'm going to repurpose this into a street machine.

You can't be king of the meet until 1.5" of the tire is worn to the steel belts and the rest of the tire still has the little nubbies on it.

Fox or King come up with long travel air ride for those big speed bumps yet or are you going with the $89 Ebay "Special Adjusting Racing Coilovers" straight from China and busting the "carbon fiber look" China chin spoiler off when you back out of the driveway the first time?

:lmao: :flipoff2:

What really happened......

My boat trailer looked gay with 12" rims.

Problem is, nobody makes a 15" wheel in a 4x4 pattern. 4x100 could be made to work, but those all have shitty FWD offsets.

So I had a couple chunks of 7075 laying around.

Now I have 5x5.5 hubs for a 2k axle. Add some custom Alcoas and you get this.

But why stop there? Every 1200# boat trailer needs disk brakes right?

Some RZR calipers and a surge coupler and we're down the road. It's nice to be able to pull the caliper with the wheel on......
