The secret to good fried rice is using old cold refrigerated rice, not hot or even warm.Make extra when you make white rice so you can refrigerate the extra (leave unseasoned). Make fried rice with it in a couple days, comes out way better if the rice has been refrigerated after being cooked.
Bit of oil in a pan, butter once it's hot, throw in a couple eggs, rice, and some veggies. Soy sauce once it's mostly cooked. Comes out like good hibachi rice.
