Looking for a different work shoe. We run a lumberyard, so safety toe is a must. I have boots for times I'm on a jobsite or when needed. But most days, I wear shorts to work and prefer low height shoes.
Been wearing Skechers composite toe sneaker height for years. But the last 2 pair have both come apart after a couple months. Same place, under the ball of my foot, sole separates from top. Funny, the ones i wear in my shop are probably 5 years old and like most things pre-Rona, are still in great shape.
What are y'all wearing that lasts and is comfortable? I like the comfort of memory foam and need a wide shoe.

The ones I wear are still a boot, rather than a shoe--but they're a "hiker" style, so maybe kinda in-between? Anyway, these fit me really well, and are comfortable. Memory foam soles, composite toe.

I've been wearing Keen shoes, the ones that look like a shoe not a hiker, last 3 years with great success, nice and lightweight comp toe. I work in a very light industrial aerospace factory environment so the need for a heavy rugged boot is null.

Been wearing Keens the last couple of years. Currently wearing a pair of Atlanta's I picked up last spring.

Sizing can be wonky. My feet measure 10.5 but I had to get these in 9.5. My other Keens were similar so best to try on first if you can.

Like my Thorogoods. Only 6 inch boot I've ever worn out of the store and didn't need to break in
