Rust Valley Restorers on Netflix. If you have seen it you know who Mike Hall is. That’s how I picture most guys on irate! Mmm, I kinda fit that mold. No dreads, but have the long ass hippie hair!:flipoff2:

God I want to slap the shit out of that guy, he's not a business owner hes a fucking hoarder. ...Talk about someone not only being the source of their own misery, but heaping it on their family too. Seems like he spends a third of his time working on cars (and making emotionally driven decisions rather than business driven ones), a third bullshitting himself and everyone else with his optimism, and a third having childish hoarder tantrums when he's confronted with the reality of his situation.

Then again it's all just a reality show, so it could all be completely fake :rolleyes:
 
I kinda liked it, the few times I watched it. The guys voice was annoying as fuck

I always have a hard time when they talk about doing it for profit, then put 1000hrs and a 12k dollar engine in a car that'll sell for 26k. I know it's scripted bs, but I can't stand it:laughing:
 
The whole mother of Camo!!! WTF has happened today? Is the vss board subliminally taking over the mighty IBB?!!!
While entertaining and more than likely edited for clown purposes, hard to watch.
What's with the interest of the sub par builders in Franceada?
For television try the other side of the country and witness some Bad Chad.....watch as drunk as you can get....thank me later.

Yeah, you’re right. And bad Chad is even harder to watch. He’s really good at building super ugly unfinished shit. His wife is kinda hot but she looks like she’s super sad all the time.

I found it entertaining. I want to say his field-of-cars was the center of attention before. Stating he was an asshole who wouldnt sell anything.

Bad Chad is unwatchable.

He has nice cars for sure! I’d like to have a couple of em to hoard for him in my backyard. My wife would shit bricks if that happened. I already have to move five things to get one out.:grinpimp:

Have you ever driven by the "junkyard" on I35E in Denton that is next to the old Northstar Dragway? Its chock full of older cars of all makes and models ranging from the 40s to the early 80s. They are a mix of rare 60s muscle cars right up to shit like early Chrysler K cars. Hundreds of cars, and parts. Place blows my mind every time I drive by it.

I think its called The Denton Auto Ranch.....

Used to be a place on the way to Cortez Colorado that had a lot of nice old stuff. It was as all gone the last time I was through there. I hope it didn’t all get crushed.

Yeah, never stopped in. I've found those type of guys are pompous, and I have no interest in paying 200% retail on something. I get along with scrap yard and machine shop owners.
 
Apart from wanting to shave the guys head every time I watch the show (I fucking hate white guys with dreads, it just screams dirty hippy to me) I’ve found the show fairly entertaining to watch. Watching them bring ho e the deuce sure was entertaining.
 
I can't watch that show. I tried but I used to watch the "Highway Thru Hell" show about the towing company in Canada and one episode had some guy and a crew that would go around to rockslide areas and knock rocks loose. The leader of the crew was a guy they called "Masta Blasta" and he looked and sounded exactly like the guy from the Rust Valley show. For whatever reason that starts getting my mind all on the whole "fishbowl" thing, parallel dimensions and that nonsense and I don't pay any attention to the show itself. Weird, I know.

He acts like a dick and his "builds" are all made from exhaust tubing. She does look sad. I chalk it up to who she married(methhead exhaust tube guy) and where she lives. :laughing:
 
I haven't watched any of these. They all annoy me. I quit after American Hot Rod and Overhaulin. I'd watch reruns of Junkyard wars and Monster garage before any new shows.

CTC Auto Ranch. The Roadkill guys pulled a car out of there and took it drag racing on one of the earlier episodes.
 
Watched an episode or two and meh. I got a friend of mine that lives in the area, he told me the guy is pretty cool in person and does a lot of charity stuff in the community. He gets bored with the place every so often and puts it up for sale, last time was a couple of years ago for 1.2M for the whole works.
