Russia / Ukraine thread

Zelensky has little-man syndrome big time. Dude can't get through any public affair without trying to look tough.

Find the Nazi....

so....has ukraine laid out what their desired end point is? are they going to be supported until they reclaim everything "lost" in 2014?

2-6 more years before the US tap can get turned off...

I really hate zelinsky and being forced to support these corrupt fucks who seem totally fine getting into a nuke exchange over that dump, but seeing SS on a flag hoisted up in Congress and who knows what other Nazi shit is on that flag, really is fucking funny!!:lmao::lmao:

I don't hate Zelensky. Hell, I don't blame him. If I was in his situation I'd probably be doing the exact same thing. They're being invaded and fighting for their existence and when you're in that situation you'll do anything you have to do. Decency be damned. What I hate is the white washing of all things Ukrainian and the never ending blank check into this very obvious proxy war. Just stop with the "we just want to support Ukraine" bullshit. This is about bleeding Russia. We didn't give a shit about Ukraine before this war (it was in fact well accepted that Ukraine was deeply corrupt with a lot of disturbing underlying neo-Nazi shit) and we won't give a shit about Ukraine again after this war.

It would be interesting if America didnt send any money to the Ukraines from day one in 2014. Would they have that size military to poke Russia? Of course not. There would be no invasion at all and everything would be peaceful. But the west wanted none of that at all. Ask Lindsey Graham and all those war mongers in congress.

How much do they pay you? Russia is a dysfunctional nations state of a trailer park with nukes. No one wants a fucking thing to do with them, no one is going to invade that shit hole. Pooty is big mad because he is losing control of his desired sphere of influence. Ukraine isn't yours, Russias, or pooty's. This entire shit show is due to his paranoia and ego.

Tens of thousands of Russians (ethnic and non) have died and hundreds of thousands have fled to neighboring countries because of this. The collective talent and capital drain will set your trailer park back even further that it was a year ago and that wasn't pretty.

How many of Russia's small neighbors haven't desperately tried to join NATO the moment they had a chance? That's all one needs to know when judging what kind of neighbor Russia has always been.

Of course this doesn't mean Ukraine is not full of fundamental problems and corruption.

As you know, those are two separate and not mutually exclusive conditions. Yes corruption exists (everywhere), Russia is still a sorry shithole who uses force to invade neighboring territories and enforce their will. That's how the entire USSR was built. Force.

That's it right there. Cuts through all the bullshit propaganda.

if ukraine isn't mine, it would be a bunch cheaper to get my money back :flipoff2: which is the point that was trying to be made, without the heavy US funding and support for the past good while, what would Ukraine look like? this entire conflict is VERY likely to have been avoided entirely. Ukraine should be for ukraine, but dang, talk about a talent drain. a massive percent of ukrainians have fled

but how else do you decrease property values and buy up all the land and mineral rights for pennies on the dollar?

You clearly do not understand Russia or their view of geopolitics. Russia invaded sovereign territory in 2014 and felt emboldened enough to do it again when the VP was back in the WH. Neither of their extraterritorial expansions were justifiable. Neither the U.S. nor Ukraine gave a single fuck about invading that shithole to Ukraine's east.

As much as I despise the reckless spending in D.C. we're not just sending piles of cash to UKR. Thar are sending bought and paid for equipment and supplies.

If the US hadn't convinced Ukraine to get rid of its nukes they would still have Crimea and their eastern provinces. Layers of game playing in this arena

To be honest- most countries were built and expanded by force.

I always find it ironic that people get mad at US western expansion but not about the present location of borders in Europe!

There were 3 countries that had the left over Nukes. Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Ukraine. It wasn't only America wanting those nukes out of those states. America, Britain and Russia. America. America as usual offered money and Ukraine flipped the finger. It was only after years of agreements and one being the security agreement that Ukraine agreed to dismantle the nukes.

Then there was the coup of 2014 that America instigated . Crimea voted to get out and was annexed by Russia. So tit for tat here.

The genocide shelling of the ethnic Russians in the Donbas which brought in the Russians. This was allowed by the west to happen with the inbound of US dollars into the Ukraine military and support to do so . So here we are. Invasion or self protection of ones people. Remember Iraq? We did the same for other reasons.

The earlier scholars that got those Nukes out of Ukraine most likely stopped a nuclear war today. . Ukraine had 1,900 strategic warheads, 176 intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBMs), and 44 strategic bombers. I cannot imagine Zelenzkyy having that capability of Nukes and the west puppeteers pushing Ukraine into this war with Russia.

If Ukraine had that supply of weapons we wouldn't be here chatting about the pros and cons of this conflict.
