Rubicon trail mandatory evacuation

the mandatory evacuation now includes all of the Rubicon Trail in El Dorado county.
the Eldorado Forest was closed entirely almost two weeks ago, and now the evacuation order covers that area as well

Looks like the Rubicon on the Tahoe side will be closed until Late October

Pursuant to 16 U.S.C. §§ 551 and 36 C.F.R. § 261.50(a), and to protect natural resources and provide for public safety, the following acts are prohibited within the Lake Tahoe Basin Management Unit. This Order is effective from September 20, 2021 through October 20, 2021.


6. Being on the McKinney/Rubicon Trail (14N34) west from the intersection of Forest Trail 14N34A to the LTBMU boundary, as shown on the attached map (Exhibit C). 36 C.F.R. § 261.55(a).
