Way out West.
So you fuckers that live in the rusty part of the world, I'm going to be installing some stuff that will require me to run sheet metal screws through the floor of my F150, and I want to seal up these penetrations. 3M, Rustoleum, Duplicolor, etc. all make such. Is there any better than the others?

I have never noticed a difference in undercoatings. Just get 3 or 4 good layers on.

If it is protected area then never worry about it again.

If it is subject to splash and road debris, inspect and recoat as needed yearly.

All I've ever done is black rattle can or bedliner spray when installing whatever it is and then fluid film yearly coatings.

I like Waxoil or Woolwax better. It can't de-laminate and cause rust.

+1 for RTV on little spots.

Put the rtv on the screw before driving it in and be done with it
