Rifle rust bluing

Thinking about getting a rifle reblued, but need recommendations on a good shop to do rust blueing. Thought about Turnbull but the service fee would be twice what i paid for the gun. and also, they wont give you a quote until they have the gun in hand, though i may just call and talk to them.

anyone else know of a good smith that can do this work?

You might want to ask your LGS for a recommendation. Shipping would add to the cost. FFL cost too, I guess.

No FFL needed for firearm repair since there's no ownership transfer.

I know a source but it won't be cheap. He's more for refinishing heirlooms or rare pieces. I can pull it out if you want.

Honestly, you should just do it yourself if you don't want to pay the exorbitant price to do it professionally.

I appreciate it but I've changed my mind and won't be rebluing
