I love real books for reloading data. It is cool to collect old manuals and compare with modern sources especially when trying to find loads for obsolete powders which can occasionally turn up at estate sales etc. I never trust opened containers of powder but if still sealed I will use them.
My question for all you modern round loaders is do you think printed reloading books are going to become obsolete completely like newspapers have? The shooting industry has been pumping out "New, Cooler, More Tactical" rounds for the last couple of decades, if you want to shoot the latest greatest rounds then you are buying new books as well or using internet sources for load data. Meanwhile the fad rounds come and go, for example the Rem and Win short mags, hardly ever hear about them anymore.
Will I be buying a 7PRC or anything creed? Probably not as I can do what I want with my boomer antique relics 30-06, 223, 22-243 Win, and 338 Win Mag. I'm just curious what the younger generation thinks the future will look like for reloaders particularly with regard to books vs digital and keeping up with cartridge trends.
