Spent all weekend on wiring and all the little tedious things like welding zip tie tabs routing wires. Got rear axle cleaned up and painted, that was the only pic I got of a full weekend of work lol. Hopefully it will run with a few more hrs of work

Got the truck out for the first test drive, had some initial death wobble around 40 mph. Pulled it back in and bolt checked and found a loose steering box bolt and a Johnny joint with a 5/8 hole instead of 9/16. Swapped that out for the right one, added a stabilizer and it drives great now. Got it up to 55mph. Waiting to break gears in before I hit the freeway

Came out sick:smokin: Maybe I missed it but no hydro assist? Front bumper next?
Thank you, Im pretty stoked on it. I have hydro assist for it but running it without for a month or so to test out this prototype high steer before I wheel on it. Wanted to get some street miles on it and see how friendly it is to daily driving

Front bumper is next, not sure if I wanna make a low pro tube one or cut up and reuse the old bumper and tie it into the cage

got some miles on the taco, cruises at 75mph no issues, Trans hates steep grades though. I could barely hold 55mph and it was jumping around gears lol.

Cruised up to my buddies place and helped him on his 3 link. Made a tcase skid and got it on its weight

Sweet build man!! Have any better pics of the pass side steering knuckle, and how you setup the draglink and tie rod at the pass side knuckle. Cheers

Thank you! I will post some pics soon of the steering. I am running a prototype high steer kit from Synergy MFG

Started on the hydro assist this week, what a pain in the ass.

Parts list if I ever forget down the road
PSC-SC2200K ram
PSC-HK2015 hose kit
PSC-SR146k-6-12 remote resi kit with hoses
SP1200x-6-12 TC pump
TRG-301077-KIT PS pump bracket kit
PSC-PP2456 pulley
PSC-SF06 adapter for box
PSC-SF07 adapter for box
new serpentine belt 040413 part number from Napa

To start you have to drill out the upper bolt hole on the pump out to 24/32"
Had to order an allan head bolt from McMaster to get it to clear the pulley and then grind the head of the bolt down to fit past the pulley

had to cut off my arb bracket and move it over to fit the remote resi in there

I will post more updates once I get everything plumbed

Its going to be worth it but not fun to track all these parts down since there aren't a lot of kits for the 3.4 motor

Yea what's up with that? There used to be, then they discontinued them it seems. My issue is my dumbass inboarded my front leafs, and built my truck too low so my ram doesn't fit anywhere lol!!

Hydro assist is in and workin great, made such a huge difference from driving on 40s with stock pump to this.

Had to destroke the ram down to 7" from the original 8" made a spacer on the lathe for it. Not to bad of a job. Got everything plumbed. Flex tested to see where I have to trim fenders more and then ended up stripping out the preload ring on the Fox coil over. The soft aluminum threads on the ring are pretty soft so its common. Gonna hose clamp it for JV and then fix later

Taco did awesome for the annual thanksgiving JV trip. Ran some new trails. Wrecking ball, down Spooners, started Outer Limits but had to turn around cause a F150 broke a super duty balljoint. We went back up spooners and colinsmithslo broke something in his front third. Towed him out and made it back to camp. Got the taco up to 55mph in the whoops and it felt great! Rear end is the big issue now since it can't keep up with the front. Only issue I had all weekend was the rear ARB air line leaking
