RANT-F350 fuel filter

I just broke my fuel filter housing trying to unscrew it to change the filter. Why the hell is this crap made of plastic and so damn tight.

Now I have to go to Ford in the morning to find another housing while my truck is dead in the driveway. Piece of under engineered crap. And it will probably break again next time I change the fuel filter. Stoopid crap.

The one under the bed or on the engine? Both a shitty design IMO.
take grease and cover all lf the oring and the threads on the underbed one, it helps to get it off down the road.
