New build thread... my oldest daughter's 92 s-10. It's her first build.
04 super duty 248 front
Disc brake 14 bolt
37" tires
Leaf spring
Barnes brackets
And pretty well staying stock everywhere else for now... supposed to have it done by Dec 2nd for a run, but things aren't happening fast enough, so i had to jump in last night and get some shit figured out.

The frame is pretty badly bent on the passenger side in the front....i had to compensate for that a bit, and in order to do that the 2x8x1/4 rectangular tube had to be frenched into the front frame rails. The good part is that if in the future she decides she wants to start over with a better platform to start with, we can cut the cross member out pretty easy and use it on the next one(as long as they're using a sd60 leaf spring axle :homer:)
Anyway, I'll update as we go. Hoping to have it on weight either tonight or tomorrow...
 
Did a little more. Parts are showing up slower then anticipated, so this thing didn't really get enough attention...

Got the axle all mocked in today. There is no flat spot on the s-10 frame, so i Frenched a piece of 1/4" plate into it. Worked pretty well. We're going to have to use the second leaf that came original with the pack. The single just doesn't seem like it's going to be enough. Need the upper leaf spring retainers still but should be able to get those from another truck this week... we don't have a rear axle yet either.... around us a 14 bolt is el either $600+, junk, or comes from a diesel truck. That's the luck:laughing:
We'll find one sooner or later. My poor girl is learning what a budget is and wondering why she didn't just start doing drugs:lmao:

So it's a 4.3/4l60e/ np231
Front leaf spring super duty 60 from an 04 changed to 8x6.5 bp.
Rear tbd but some sort of 14 bolt
both running 5.38 gears... going to be Lincoln locked with old school 37" mtr wranglers on 17" aftermarket wheels of some type...
