I asked him on one of his IG posts and he replied back that he uses pressure from the power steering system. I'm not sure what that really looks like though. I'm not sure if he is running some kind of resi on those shocks and uses the power steering to provide pressure on one side of the resi or what. I can't see pressure being applied directly to the shock working well, as you'd get the chance of nitrogen in your steering system if you released the pressure.
