ROME, N.Y. -- Rome Superintendent Peter Blake issued a statement earlier this week regarding a social media post by one of the teachers. The Facebook post by Brandon Mendoza called on "White privileged Trump supporters" to go away calling them "scum and a plague upon this world."

The profanity-filled social media post has been widely shared and many parents called on the district to take action. In a statement, Peter Blake said,

"Thank you to everyone who reached out to express their concern and disappointment caused by the comments of a Rome City School District staff member. Our district believes in equity & tolerance and the individual's comments do not reflect those values. While we cannot speak publicly about personnel-related issues, I can assure you that we are addressing the situation with our legal counsel and the State Education Department. On behalf of all Rome City School District employees, I am sorry that our school community was represented in such a negative light."

No kidding! If they replaced Trump with Biden their account would be locked by now. They have to teach the kids of everyone regardless of the parents political affiliation. How do they still have a job?
 
I feel like a lot of his “friends” are missing a great opportunity for him to say this to their face. :smokin:

I’d write Trump on my knuckles with a crappy marker so he could read the word in the mirror after laying it across his forehead.
 
of course facebook left it up. they were having too many problems with their old AI deleting things that should be left up, so they changed it so that "white" "male" and "American" are not as easily AI dropped.

Hate "White women" or "Black males" or "American immigrants" all you want, not a problem.

Be sure to write it in mirror image for him so it will be right when looking int the mirror. He probably couldn't figure out what it said otherwise. :stirthepot:

because it is perfectly acceptable for public school teachers to be highly radicalized as long as they hate on the pre-approved groups :flipoff2: there is a line, but it is pretty far away compared to others :rasta:

I think the guy that called for the toddlers death with the George Floyd BLM pose was also reprimanded, so it does happen, just difficult.

I'll bet that dude gets fired. If my boss had to write about me what that guy's superintendent wrote about him to the media, I would be expecting to get fired that same day.

he should be fired.

replace "white" with "black/muslim/arab" in his post and it wouldn't take a day and you'd be deplatformed and toxic, harassed, doxed, threatened and unable to work in public school ever again.

edit: none of that stuff is good though, he should probably be fired and that should probably be the end of it. hell, I support a full review and in class observation for a few weeks along with some empathy training bullshit re-education camp stuff and let him keep his job if rehabilitated.

He should be fired just as he should in any job in which he was directly responsible for supervising, having control over and being in a leadership posittion over anyone that could hold the views that the he finds worthy of death.

Too bad he didn't have a PhD. He be offered a tenured position somewhere overnight:homer:

Yeah, gonna go ahead and say that sweeping generalization of someone who went through the effort to get a PhD is unfounded. I have no argument with the rest of your statement.

Romes not big enough for him to be assigned somewhere else. He may get a job elsewhere but not much you can do about that.

Too bad nobody doxxed his ass it would be funny to see a Trump flag end up in his yard and his car get covered in Trump stickers.
