2010 Terex TL120 loader for sale locally.

Owned by an old guy, private use for the last 10 years moving snow on his land.

2000 hours.
Brand new snow tires.
Comes with bucket, forks and blade.

Perkins Tier 2 engine

Don't really need it, but non-DEF machines aren't getting built anymore...

Is $31,000 USD a drop everything and buy it now price?

If you need it buy it. If you plan on reselling it for a profit no. How close is the dealer for parts?

Probably a little high for age, but I doubt you'll find another one with those hours or in better shape for less.

Only one that sold recently was non-op and didn't list hours.....for $13k.

I don't know about screaming deal but it's decent and I would buy it if I was in the market. That size loader seems a little odd to me (small enough to not need def but heavy enough to require a decent trailer) which might be why there aren't a ton of them for sale.

I ran one similar to that moving snow. Much nicer than a skid steer for long periods of time.

I don't know about the precise value, but I often buy nicer lower hour equipment than the average redneck, cry about the price, but am really really happy when running it. And it holds its value. Better than "money in the bank" IMO

I spent 12.5k on a low hour bobcat, but have $5k daily drivers, for perspective

Was it 40yrs old or stolen?

$31k is a lot for something you "don't really need" unless it replaces or adds redundancy to a lot of shit that you do need. And with a cab that's 12 fucking feet in the air we all know it won't do that for you.

Sure, you could theoretically get your money back out but without using woman math that's not really a guaranteed thing no matter how much a bunch of people who have money tied up using that justification portray it that way. After maintenance costs over time you're probably looking at a value worse than a savings account at the current rate.

If it were a side-cab mining loader in this size that could larp as an indoor forklift I'd say go for it.

If you could get it for closer to 25k, that would be a good deal.

Being in the great white north would you be able to rent it during large snow events, or use it to clear lots over a foot deep, stack piles? If you don’t have a use for it that seems like the easiest way to have it pay for itself.
