Prey - new Predator Movie

So it underestimated the power of a liberated woman, and suffered for it's patriarchal views.

Shocking, I tell you.
Sometimes you've just gotta switch your brain off and mindlessly munch popcorn :flipoff2:

Uhhh, at least it's not based on a fucking comic book? :flipoff2:
So I've got some bad news for you....

Well, not a comic, but a joke:

Following the release of Rocky IV, a joke circulated in Hollywood that since Rocky Balboa had run out of earthly opponents, he would have to fight an alien if a fifth film were to be made. Screenwriters Jim and John Thomas took the inspiration from the joke and wrote a screenplay based on it. The Thomas script for Predator was originally titled Hunter.[7][8] The original concept, centered on a plot of "what it is to be hunted," concerned a band of alien hunters of various species seeking various targets; that concept was eventually streamlined to one extraterrestrial hunting the most dangerous species, humans, and the "most dangerous man," a combat soldier.

Watched this last night, SJW complaints are overblown imo. Suspension of disbelief wasn't any worse than the other Predator movies. Had more complaints about the Predator design and how it acted than anything else. Looked goofy and definitely didn't act the same as Predators in other movies.

Watching this from 2018 currently:

Somehow never heard of this one, but they did it in the style of cheesy 80s monster horror movies and did pretty well in that regard. So far anyway. Definitely more Predator screen time than most of the movies.
