Good time to take the bed off and try to patch in the cab from being a wannabe 4runner.

(Aug. 2021)
Everything gutted, didn't know where to start other then gutting everything to make room and just getting anything out of my way.

IMG_3604.JPG

Deleted the core dash support and replaced it with my own, felt like this was a good start point and a great zero reference where i zeroed everything off this tube. Couldnt make up my mind for the life of me on how to tie the cage to the frame, ended up just cutting by the body mount plating it and starting there! (Cheater tube helped see the angle i kinda needed)

IMG_3613.JPG

A Pillar out the back bringing tube up from B pillar, tried to keep everything less complicated and not over think it to much hahah.
Pretty stoked how tight I was able to get it!

TIME to revisit those "seat mounts". Issue I ran into was lacking leg space, realistically i should have moved my B-pillar behind the cab at this point it was to late :lmao:. Demoed all the seat mounts and went more simple way, alot easier and kinda wish i went that route to begin with, LIVE AND LEARN. also running into this issue I had to readdress the tubes coming down from the upper most B-pillar down to the center removing that tube.

(MAR. 2022)
IMG_5016.JPG

Seats back in nefver grabbed a photo of the mounts but I can update you guys with a photo if you request.

IMG_5090.JPG

Back to those pesky tubes behind the seat, adding a 30* bend to move around the head space. simple.easy!

IMG_5347.JPG

IMG_5345.JPG

Pre-plotting what I will be doing with the back toobes, going to bring them in as tight to the cab with a 60* to the frame.

IMG_5349.JPG

Getting those 63s finally mounted up, Having great help from a best friend makes a Great help!

IMG_5334.jpg

Finally on her weight! at this moment I'm predicting some added weight to the shackle angle I'm shooting for roughly 37* when all said and done.

It not so much tongue weight, just the little lean I had plus bed weight of tools and axles and other things in the move process. The lean will be going away I’ll be doing a solid axle 60 up front dropping the lift a little to even out, as well putting 33s getting rid of the 35s, more towing purpose with a lance camper and a flat but that’s on the back burner at the moment….
