What's new

Post your prices today

Just bought diesel. Shit was $3.09 last week. $3.29/gal this week here in North Carolina.

87 Octane (regular) is hovering right around the $3.00/gal mark. So I guess if my car was a gasser vs. a diesel, it would've been better in that regards.

93 Octane is $3.49/gal now at the normal gas stations. I haven't checked Costco which was around $3.00/gal 2 weeks ago. Wife's car is in need of a refuel here directly and I'll have to put some in the 4x4. Probably need to finally retard that timing so I can go back to using 87 octane.

I pretty much only go to Costco for gas first thing in the morning. Starting about 10am until closing, its a heck of a wait.

Unleaded was $3.75 before Memorial Day and is 3.79 today.
Diesel was/is $3.55/3.59.

$2.89 on January 21, 2021.
$3.54 just before Memorial Day.
$3.65 June 9.
$3.97 Oct 1 and it’s been here a while.

$3.38 Model Dairy 2% at WINCO on March 22, 2021.

Primers were $150/1,000 private party/second hand. Local store now has them for $99/1,000 when they should be $40/1,000.

9mil nitrile gloves at Harbor Freighy $22.99 before June 2021.

Paid 3.29 local and 3.03 down in Las Cruces NM prices there were up to 3.30. Glad we got the majority of our travels out of the way

Been watching it climb about $.07 per day at the station by my house. Regular was 3.67 yesterday, it's 3.74 this morning. Getting rediculous.

Filled up the commute beater yesterday. Regular 89 was $4.65. My commute cost went from less than $5 a day to almost $7 a day which may seem like not a lot but my commute round trip is only about 26 miles.
FJB.

I wrote earlier about rising prices concerning most Americans. 87% are worried about it, according to a new Fox survey, a significant number.

One of the things that people are most worried about is rising gas prices. A massive number — 84% — say that’s a problem for their families, with 50% saying it’s a “major” problem. Virtually everyone — 94% — thought such rising gas prices a problem for the country’s economy including 67% calling it a “major” problem.

Prices are up all over the country, but today they hit a truly unbelievable number in Gorda, California — $7.59 for a regular gallon of gas. Premium is nearly $8.50.

The average across the nation is still going up.

Home heating bills going into the winter are also expected to skyrocket, some by as much as 54%. Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer decried this, indicting Joe Biden in the process.

Meanwhile, Joe Biden is concentrated on begging OPEC to pump more oil while shutting down things like the Keystone Pipeline.

Now, he’s also giving up on another option — the Willow Project, an oil and gas drilling project in Alaska that would have provided not only a lot of oil but thousands of jobs, as well. There was a court ruling against the project, despite there being an extensive review of any possible economic impact. The Biden Administration had previously said they would fight for the project. Now they’ve changed their mind and are not appealing the decision, making the project effectively dead, killing the drilling opportunity and all the jobs.

The entire congressional delegation from Alaska – Sens. Lisa Murkowski and Dan Sullivan and Rep. Don Young – have been vocal proponents of the project, arguing it would produce 100,000 barrels of oil per day, lead to $10 billion in government revenue and create 2,000 construction jobs and 300 permanent jobs. They also applauded the Biden administration after its brief defending Willow in May.
“This decision won’t do one thing to help the environment,” Sullivan said in a statement following the August ruling. “To the contrary, it further delays one of Alaska’s most strategic energy development projects, which will benefit our adversaries that produce oil, like Russia, Venezuela and Iran, whose environmental standards are some of the worst in the world.”

Now, it’s just one more thing that would help America that Biden has thrown under the bus while at the same time helping Russia’s oil dominance and foothold in the EU with his decision on Nord Stream 2 sanctions. He couldn’t do more if he were deliberately trying to hurt the United States.

When I quit contracting in 2006 shit was jumping like that every day, matriels bid I had Monday was not good Tuesday a couple times they changed midday hard to bid a job 6 weeks out if you don't know what your material cost is going to be.
Surprised they don't have it locked up with an armed guard in front

1/2” 4x8 OSB down to $16.98 sheet!!!!
This is my gauge for pricing, as I took it in the shorts paying $47.98 a sheet (bought 60 sheets) back in June!!!!!!

Shit; holding steady here:
Walmart: $3.65
Costco: $3.65
(Same as end of Summer)

I will say this; pre-2021, gas goes down by this time of the year.

Historically (based on late Summer '21 price); gas should be about $3.39 to $3.45 by now (late Nov).

Elections have consequences , that being said FJB and any clown who voted for him , dead and alive.

Diesel fuel $2.89 by the house and $2.49 a week ago by work.

edit: a new iPhone is around $1,000 and you pay monthly for it for two years. Something I predict will change under Biden because less people have $33/month to pay for a phone.

Diesel is now $4.07 by my house.

Been as high as $3.99, but not lower than $3.50.
